bummer man. i just had a session. i have developed some kind of bag Attention Defiset(sp?) Dissorder now that i've got like 10 bags. there are only 2 out of the 7 bags i've stitched that i haven't really had a session with, which is pretty cool. hit some new combos today.

-ducking butterfly > ripwalk BSOS
-spinning butterfly > ripwalk BSOS
-pixie diving butterfly
-pdx drifter > drifter > pdx drifter > driii...drop

didn't play too long. i gotta get in the habit of soloing more now that the weather has been getting alot better. It was beautiful today, but it was a tiny windy.

deficit

and a tiny (bit) windy

In my opinion, "stabbing" up a bag brings shame to the craft. You should definitely say hand-crafting instead or "generating." Wait, why not just stitching? I understand that sewing is too feminine, so I myself say stitching.

try blurry drifter>drifter>blurry drifter>drifter.

had a two hour session today. longest solo session in quite sometime. I tried out Dave's training method for myself. I think its a really effective method of training for footbag. i definitley saw improvement in the moves that i was doing consecutives of. i started out with some light shred, and warmed up. drilled some fairies which were feeling really clean on my strong side and decent on my flip. hit a bunch of new pixie/fairy links. i also threw in some atomics just to round out my toe shuffle practice. then i moved on to consecutives. this is what i did.

25 contacts of the following on each side. The ones i could repeat i did, the others i hand caught and did the next one or bailed to something like clipper then did another.

-clip dlo. This was one i bailed to clipper then did another
-whirls
-drifters
-ducking clippers
-plos
-diving clippers
-smear's
-spinning clippers

It was an intense work out hitting 25 of those on each side. i noticed lots of improvement in my flip dlos, flip pixies, flip whirls and drifters. Definitley a training method that i will keep integrating into my solo sessions. Thanks alot for the idea Dave!

i beat my spining clipper record too. I got 10, then ran into a chair. i think i felt a couple more in me, but if i was moving around that much i guess i wasn't under total control. but my last record was something like 6

next session i plan on doing
-whirls again
-smears again
-pixie ss mirage
-fears
-spinning butterflies
-pdx whirls
-gyro clippers

had a mini solo sess tonight. I didn't do the consecutives because i ran out of energy soo fast. i did manage to hit Sumo, which was cool. i had never hit it before, and it was on the side i hadn't hit any nuclear tricks with. i also footed flipside spinning blender a couple times.

First beer as a 21 year old...aaaahhh. It feels good. Pretty uneventful birthday besides buying $40 worth of beer. But i've got plans for the weekend and some sick plans next weekend.

Damn, i was just looking at my blog, and realized i don't play footbag anymore. all this stuff on this page i can't even hit anymore.

Although, i've been getting into Climbing latley. i joined SUOC which is the Syracuse university outing club. They go on like atleast 10 trips a week. One person i met has a climbing wall at his hosue too and i've been spending alot of time there.

Next weekend im going to a thing they call Speleofest, which is a whole weekend of Caving, Climbing and Drinking. im stoked. Nature rules

that's awesome you go bouldering. A good friend of mine this past year and a half or so has gotten into climbing and hiking and slack lining. I join him from time to time. Mostly just watch.
