I guess it's different for everyone, i smoke a bowl almost once a day and i hold a good job, have a wife, live in a nice big house, work out regularly, etc
For me it just helps me keep my mind from racing all over the place and i can concentrate on stuff easier although not as intensely for obvious reasons.
Who here has quit drugs recently?

quitting smoking weed and only drinking alcohol doesn't make sense to me; alcohol is much worse for you. I guess you might not do it as much, though.

Weed can be a party drug.. just depends on the person.
haha, i grew up in southern california and now I live in santa cruz, I know exactly what you mean... real tough to hang out with your stoned friends sometimes if you're completely sober. My only problem is that basically everyone in my town, no matter what group of kids smokes pot.....Its kinda annoying, and im thinking of quitting soon and only drinking...

I totally agree. I've watched some of my friends ruin their lives because they started smoking weed, then started selling to support their habit, moved on to other stuff, and just couldn't handle it. But, I think that these people would have had problems if they had started smoking or not. Everything is bad for you if it's overdone, even footbag. As far as concentration goes, it definitely gives you a different perspective on things; you focus on different stuff.. sometimes I shred better after a session, but obviously there's a point at which you're too baked to do anything physical.I guess it's different for everyone, i smoke a bowl almost once a day and i hold a good job, have a wife, live in a nice big house, work out regularly, etc

yea..i failed at quitting ciggerettes though...went through a break up during the process of doing so and well, that fucked that idea right up!
but having a puff of pot once in a blue moon is ok...i won't become a cronic again!

Sounds familiar. I tried to quit pot once... but then I became a chain smoker (cigarettes). I chain smoked unfiltered rollies... then I started to chain smoke unfiltered spliffs (I don't know why anyone would want to a filtered spliff...). That was about a year ago. I just ran out of tobbacco two days ago. Don't think I'm gonna be buying any more for a while needless to say.
