did quite some nice toe stuff - my toes are getting better , that is cool.

I tried some very uncommon set and it felt quite good. I do not want to tell too much I hit a move out of it .

Still no new trick for me but there was still some knee pain !Fuc* it came back .

The only positive thing was I guess I figured out why the pain comes.

Fall early into your butterfly and land on your full forefoot. I tend to fall too late into the butter then I have some kind of break step and that is not good for my knee.

Hope this is the prob and I can figure it out to solve that issue and can call BYEBYE Kneepain forever.

Hm I got a show today and it went quite good - impressed a lot of young kids and teached them a bit afterwards.

whats going on Jochen..i am posting in your blog to ask you if you could help me out with my Deutsch class. I am currently taking my second semester of Deutsch 102 haha not that far into the language but i know some stuff..to get to the point i was just asked by my professor to write up a paper and do a presentation about something culturely on/or about anything in any german speaking countries. Right away I picked footbag..is there anyway you could tell me if you think footbag has anything to do with your german culture..i kno it is small community but it still continues to grow everywhere. also do you think you can contact anyother germans who have picked up the sport of footbag because i would love to hear what they have to say on the subject as well..I just read through one of the general footblogs on... does footbag have a culture? it helped out a lot however it was from all aspects..hopefully you will be able to help me out. thanks a lot.

Hi ,

I will try to help you no problem. Unfortuntely I am super individual and I do not know what special german attitutes I have. Moeover I am a solo shredder and so I got not much comparison how a footbag club will be accepted in a cultural surrounding .

I recommend to contact "Linosphere" Matthias Schmidt, "Max" Max Kerkhoff, "Paulsator" Paul Cronjaeger or "skoxn" Alexander Skocki.
The first three of the mentioned people are from the Berlin Footbag Club www.fcfootstar.de and Alex is from www.dexdo.de the footbag club of Dortmund.

Not to forget to visit the guys of the Munich Footblog, they got a club and a site too check the profiles of "Nur" "Ebo" "sNale" and " Bea"

I had a session yesterday for 90 minutes and Ifilmed all on a webcam .

I hope I can get it online soon . Right now I got no idea about an appropriate program to edit the vid.

I'm sorry, I forgot if you have a challenge thread and I'm too lazy to look for it so I'm posting a little challenge here, I hope that is okay?

Anyway, I read you challenged people to fully control their osi. Well, I challenge YOU to do infinity (freeze)>infinity (freeze)>osis (freeze) [repeat]. I bet you can do that (especially with this weather it shouldn't be too hard to freeze). I've been doing this too for control and it feels super cool.

How about smear>plo (repeat) for your toe game?

I got only super limited internet access. Honestly the connection is super lame so browsing makes no fun at all and so I won't post much until Tuesday.

I hope I will find a good movie edit program until then to upload my first vid.

jo...if you do it with windows movie maker,be sure to save after every step.did i tell you what happend when i edited my video?it was hell...so save after each step!it´s a real time saver in the end!

Go right ahead mahhkohh! It is fun in a very strange silly way. Actually freezing osi has helped me with my zoom set too - a little - so there's another reason to try it out...

I also make my - albeit simple - videos with Win Movie Maker. It depends a little from which version you have if the program is any good. The pc I am now sitting at has XP and it came with a really basic (thus crap) version, while my dad's (also XP) came with an advanced version that has lots of cool effects, caption,...

Anyway, back to you Jochen

It is done - my first vid . Anyway it is total crap.

I mixed up the timeline and so I am not satisfied with it.

Otherwise I got now the possibility to make a vid and I am quite sure I can make a raw shred vid.

I do not give a damn about any effect so it doesn't matter to me.
I am more the content based type of person.

Yupp right now I am still not at my internet connection so there is no chance to upload but the upcoming week it will be released.

Keep us posted! I'd like to see recent footage of you no matter how crap the editing may be.

My first video was crap too but that didn't matter to me because all I wanted was 1/ to make a video 2/ to get that video online.

My first video editing process was a little frustrating at times. I spent a lot of time on the editing but saw little effect, so in the end I just sold it short and put it online like that. Of course I look back now and find it rather entertaining.
I guess you get the hang of it through practice.

back at home and so I am able to browse the www with regular speed again.

Here are the two vids from my last two sessions.

Honestly there is one vid in work which contains stuff from another session but I guess I won't be able to release one vid every session.

Ok please leave a comment about my technique and form, because that is the main reason I am doing this - to get feedback which will result in improving my footbag skills. Of course you can leave a comment about my editing too.

In every video I will concentrate on a few main tricks and it would be highly appreciated to hear your opinion about it here or in the video thread.

Enjoy the vids and the upcoming ones.

It's late and I should be getting some sleep so I'll try and keep it short

but I just wanted to make a few comments about the vid style and your technique.

Gee, I always find it hard to comment on one's style when pretty much everything looks clean as is the case here. I do think that holding your stalls (clip in particular) a split second longer could make you feel more comfortable, but I don't know if you want to see that changed. Anyway, I always try to catch high and go low so I can set controlledly and prepare for the next trick - but then your style my work perfectly well for you; I'm just shooting proposals here.

Those atomic sets look veeery high and powerful. Now do something with them!

Your style is a little bouncy from the ankles and I like that. It looks like you're telling the bag: "Hey I'm ready for you, come down here and see what I'll do to you".

That double over down looked dangerously fast...

I always try to get the whole of me in the frame, especially when I do duckings, but again I don't know if you think that's necessary.

Glad you like stuff from me ( rips and bag ).

I got two hours session today.

I was so close to three new tricks and I will make a new vid out of this session. I tried one trick other and other and came so close - hm next time I guess.

Session was nice - you will see the highlights - it is strange because I am very surprised to see people shred in real live are often much worse than on their vids. I mean I play most of the time crap and the good stuff comes on the vid.

Enough - I will edit the vid .

Read through a lot of php stuff and this is not my case until now. I hope in a few days all my knowledge will show some synergetic effects and I will implement some php in the club site of the Paradox feet footbag club.
( I like the name !)

Had a nice show today - was late not much time for a good warm up. My music did not run so I did some warming up and nice shred on stage.

The DJ was delivering a really nice beat and so the crwd went mad.

haha nice expierence - in the background the url of the paradox feet footbag club was running behind me . I make around 200 cards to give to people who show interest in footbag and after the show I srhedded for one hour more and tons of teens come to me to shred.

All got a card

After the show the lady in charge rised my payment so it turned out a real nice evening .

Today I got my last exams this term ! yeah .

Still working on my site - I wrote an email to every club in the german speaking area to link to our site .

Let's see how it turns out.
