slower than...?
The site is on the same server that it was on before, so I highly doubt modified.in is "slower" than modified.ca. Two thoughts:
1) It's possible that modified.in takes a split second longer to resolve than modified.ca, but that would only be an issue the first pageload (if the name isn't in your DNS cache).
2) More likely is that if there's a broken reference to .ca somewhere (image, stylesheet, etc.), Internet Explorer will hang before the page loads.
But nothing's slower, I promise.
We did have about a 10-minute outage tonight, though, for which I apologize.
Something was exhausting system resources on this server, which absolutely shouldn't happen for the number of sites on it. We're working to figure out why. Hope we didn't inconvenience anyone.
