Yes I know him,
In fact I gave him the shirt at SJFF!
it's Aaron Sheppard, really nice guy..

today's session: almost 2 hours of misery again..
some new combo: spin clip > rev swirl
I cant think of anything else good beside maybe one good flip ripwalk.. tried to rev swirl out of it and missed..
my legs are so sore I cant play for shit, tomorrow is day off for sure..
I guess I cant have good sessions every time! I was on fire since I arrived here, now here is a down moment..

Hey mathieu, always good to have news from you. Was great talking with you last time. Can't wait shred with you again. You know, my theory about bad practices is that there's productive things that coming up. Every time i feeli have a bad session, the next sessions are more productives. And the other thing is, that if all sess were great, footbag wouldn't be as much interesting. Keep up the hard work and see you in july.

thanks for the support pat and augustin!

legs really tired but played anyways today.. nothing awesome, played tiltless on some songs I like for routines.. one was 2mins30 and did 4 drops.. no big combos, maybe some gyro clip > osis > gyro clip .. spinnings both sides, basicly nothing hard

hmm flip zulu clip! diving clip is geting beter on flip
diving clip > whirl both sides
almost ducking clip > whirl > rpt
a couple of clean blenders.. but the bag goes flying or is never controlled after the stall.. I hate doing uptime blenders..

a lot of flip zulu clip, not midstring yet..
alomost zulu clip> zulu clip
most of the session was enjoying how easy spins are becoming for me,
also doing pixie sets on both sides
pixie > pixie > pixie > pixie > smear
did a couple of alternate pixie sets like that and ending by doing a move,
I think my flip set is just not fast enough, the height seems good .. I'll film that once I get my camera I guess
I was really happy by flip diving clip > rev swirl.. I'm just not used to do anything besides osis after flip diving

I'm in big lack of inspiration, always doign the same boring combos.. I sicken myself!

something like my 4th straight bad session.. Had a good start.. a lot of flip smears.. and one string with spins, gyros, symp whirl..
then I was halted because of work since there was a lot of need for me, working in short shorts and sweaty t-shirt in a school is always fun when you are a network administrator..
so whatever I go back but dont play well
gyro diving osis, sketchy but not so bad..
close close close to spinning whirl
a good attempt to whirlwind, perhaps if I hit ps whirl first.. I'm so close tough
hmm footed gyro whirl
almost 4 consecutive spin clip
footed barfly midstring (after osis)
some pdx whirls.. been a while

so the session was pretty crappy, but shows promess compared to the last sessions I could'nt even think writing about!

That gyro diving is gonna be SICK when you get it down! on the whirls and drifters, I think when you miss it's because you're setting it too high.

I suck why did'nt I film today's session!!!!
no big strings, no big combos

this girl comes to me asking to show her something really hard..
janiwalker firs ttry.. first time :D

then I tell her, ok I'll try something I really can't hit

Fell ont he ground after dexing whirlwind
tried couple more times, dexed it and had good landing, just not fast enoguh? same problem that I have with PS Whirl.. Once I master it Whirlwind is mine!

almost: blender> far dyno

TORQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! many times too!!!!!!

weaving clip bsos

footed : flip dlo, pixie whirl both sides.

ended session throwing two bags on clipper: rev swirl both of em :)

spin duck clip> torque
3 consecutive flip whirl
had fun doing whirl ending on toe to whirl ending on clip b2b
footed flip pdx whirl again..
torque is not so hard, but I can't place it midstring really much.. the set is never too good after the delay, I need to work on that.
oh yeah, I footed blurry whirl.. my flip step is getting kind of better, I figured a lot of things that help, practice is the next step.

first session of the week at work.. Still not playing well (I dont think this weekend's sess where good either) Perhaps I'm still overevaluating myself, but my guiltess game is really deceiving me, I rarely go for 10+ contacts, usualy around 5-7 wich is short to me :(
If I mix it up with 2 adds I usualy go for 20.
so the only thing worth mention :
rev swirl>swirl>run (really good swirl too, not a swirling set clipper!) Swirls still give me a really hard time.. rev swirl is fine.
a correct blender midstring (not uptime like I used to do).
I guess thats about it, otherwise the same shit all over, still cant get flip dlo and flip pdx whirl .. I footed flip pdx whirl in a string with my good one.. but I don't think when I foot it that its clean anyways.. I've seen a couple of the ones I footed this weekend, all the.

ok I went way behind footbagwise.. but not by lack of talent!
I decided to step back, work on basics a lot, a lot of them I don't understand or master fully, rather perfect them before focusing guiltless like I used to.
Every session I need to do:
50 pickups
50 legovers
50 ss clipper (both sides)
50 infinity
25 illusions (both sides) *25 because it takes long enough, boy I suck at them flipside
50 mirages (both sides)
50 osis

today after a worthless effort I stoped flipside illusion at 2.. I'll probably add 25 whirls both sides next session. and once flipside gets better I'll higher that to 50.

Mirages went easy, 20 consecutives both sides makes it go fast to 50..
infinity is weird, I kind of feel I control it but drop randomly between 1 or 15.. I don't see any difference between the drop and the delay.
Osis drops around 10 or around 3!

pickups are hard.. I've hit 16 consecutives but still they are hard to me

I've hit 7 consecutive ducking clippers after drilling
then I hit this cool combo: weaving clip> ducking osis
I need to try this weaving clip> ducking osis>diving clip>zulu osis

no videos for a while..
