I haven't gotten a bag yet, and haven't sent one out either. I've been crazy busy with school, but fortunately the teachers are on strike, so mine should be completed and sent out this week.

if i remember, you bag was made by Xainskimhumboldt? wrote:I finally sent my bag today, my apologies to akalzou for taking forever. I blame most due to the suffix change of modified, i couldnt get his address from my pms. I recieved my bag about a week ago. i accidentally threw the packinging away so i forgot who it was from. The stitching was pretty decent, not perfect though, and filled with aquarium rocks. It stalls really nice. The only thing i didnt like was it was made with microsuede, therefor it wont break in, but ill live.

If by aquarium rocks, you mean steel shot, footfighter rocks(straight from my footfighter), and 100% real sand from the Jersey shore, you would be correct.skimhumboldt? wrote:I finally sent my bag today, my apologies to akalzou for taking forever. I know it's supposed to be a suprise and all, but can you(alakazou) post a full list of whos a getting a bag from whom, so we can confirm that everyone gets the right bag, and to check to see if bags are lost in the mail?
I think an important part of being a good stitcher is promptness. meeting deadlines is good, and being 1 or 2 days late is ok. the deadline was the 28th? so it's been like a week since then? and two weeks before that know who it's going to, and time before that when you could have made it before the address.
So it seems that this has turned into a little bit of a mess, but let's not let it discourage us as stitchers. Keep on stabbin.

I sent mine off quite a while ago (definately before the end of Feb.) so I don't know why my recipient hasn't recieved it yet... That'd blow if it got lost in the mail!!
If it did, then I've got no problem with making a new one. I know for SURE that I can do better then what I sent off. It's satisfactory, but I can do better.
I got your bag Julien! ...looks familiar
It's nice man. I had to add a bit more filler, and the gathering seems just a lil bit loose, but it's definately a really nice bag.
