these "american idols" arent even singing their own songs. i mean come on, once there is only a couple left, i think they should have to be singing their own stuff (or it should be a rule that from beginning to end the consestants have to sing their own music) because its much easier to sing things that have already been sang(sung, singed?usage of the word sing?). well ne way like brian said, they will fade away fast and will only be known as the person who won on american idol.

I think you're geography is misguiding you Brian. From this perspective down in the urban U.S., I feel that Pop is dying and Metal is taking over, which is a little to hard for me, but I love the really hard rock, so it's cool, I'd get a lot of that with the metal too.
Little off topic, but just figured I'd comment on that portion. I think the whole American idol thing is stupid. And I think its even stupider that they get so many votes.
