Thats a good one, I actually was an extra (is that the right word?) in the first scene, where some demonstrators were pushing the big police car - i was one of them...

Unbelievable movie that I can't get out of my head. I'm honestly not huge into movies made of bands or singers. The Doors was another exception I guess. But the movie, story, and music are just so good. Reese Witherspoon and Juaquin Phoenix are spot-on. Even if you've never even heard of Johnny Cash, this movie will rock you. Go check it out on dvd!
absolutely incredible. genius. he is so zany, so funny, and there is clearly genius underneath, because he created something extremely powerful in this small area of Brooklyn. Kanye West was insane, Mos Def was ill, the Fugees kicked ass, the Roots where incredible, and the entire thing felt so real and intense. hugely recommended, especially if you appreciate the true culture.
