Nike Free 5.0 Review!

Hey guys

I just picked up a pair of these for 60 USD and thought hey this is one hell of a deal (I didn't have to pay 80 for them!!!) and right now I love them they rock my socks but they take a little time to get use to but they are worth it the toe reminds me of a Clima toe and they are hella light and the insides are great they look like lavers i havent got a good shred in but I just wanted to let people know about them again and say they can be a awesome shred shoe

I'll write another review when I get a good shred session in the (Chema needs to pick up his damn phone)

You can even make custom ones of these shoes on the nikefree website. Whatever color you want. You could have them made completely black, every single part of the shoe if you wanted.

The only thing I'm worried about is the sole and fabric used for the shoe. The durability for both is almost frightening to shred in them.

Indeed. Although the Nike Frees don't have any support for the feet, I'd be really curious to try these shoes if only the sole was more durable. Or what do I know? I've probably seen a pair only once in real life and didn't even think what kind of footbag shoe it would be, maybe the sole material is good. Like, it's a running shoe, right?

Yeah, I know. I was just worried as someone here in modified posted about the Nike Free being very sensitive on the fabric upper as his friend ripped a pair from playing frisbee. I would totally try them and do some light shred to see how things go.

Kinda but I still love the shoe and still am getting use to it right now but as I stan dto this moment I recommend these shoes if you can find them for the same price I did!

Yeah, but one thing about these shoes....... only use them for footbag i wore them for one day and i had blisters on my feet

Awsome (yeah im back for a limited time only!!!).
Nike free 5.0 is supposed to allow the most flexibility ever for your feet, like bieng bare foot, so its like shredding barefoot. But running barefoot makes your feet stronger. Im picking up a pair for track and field. But ill try shreding in them.

I shredded in a pair for 15 minutes tonight. The toe is asymmetrical so stalling is a bit tough. The clipper is tight if you've got it down. It's not a typical flat surface but works really well.

It feels like extra skin on your foot-uber cool. I felt the bag every time. Only thing I didn't like, was my feet were killing after only 15 minutes...but the guy in the store was looking at me goofy so I left. Maybe your feet have to become accustomed to them?

Yeah, you can even get your name or some cool phrase stitched on the back of them, like Shred on one and Hard on the other. I'd probably get mine to say Sweat Shop.

i got a chance to play in nike frees the other day, and they werent all that bad...

the toe could be better, as theres only your natrual toe shape to catch the bag (like your toe curl)

the clipper isnt too bad, you can feel the bag every time. just gotta watch the sole tho, its really flat on the sides, so a off balance step could be dangerous thinking...

i love the material the upper is made of. very breathy and feely....but is it durable enough to get scraped on the ground a little and not break? i wish i knew.

id give these shoes a 6 footbags out of 10. better than some, but still could be better/modified to perform better.

I don't think they would be any good for a guiltless shred, there is no toe box and the toe area is curved, so the bag would just roll/slide right off.
The insides look ok, and they look light and tightfitting, but with that comes low support.
