How much music?

Post by Slowsis »

I just got to 4 gigs of music on my computer, and was wondering how much other people have.

music that i actually listen to = 14 gigs, all of the music i have = around 20 gigs --- but i don't have tons of different artists, it's around 60 artists, but i have a lot of some, in a lot of cases like all from an artist (sometimes 10 albums)

I don't know how much I used to have, I just know it was a lot. Then one day, my mom decided to "accidentally" delete all of my Napster songs while I was out of town or something. She was scared about the illegal sharing stuff. Then my comp crashed. Then I worked up another good bit of songs through other file-sharing programs, cuz Napster started charging. Then my comp crashed. Then just about every file-sharing program I knew of started charging or was being watched, so I gave up. I have just about nothing on my comp now. I don't really care now, cuz now I make money to buy CD's every once in a while, so it's all good.

I have 14, but only listen to a handful of CDs'-worth. I don't really listen to much much because all my discmans and mp3 thingies are broken. I don't think I know what music I like anymore. I just have a couple favourite bands and I listen to them over and over and over again.

My brother's friend has over 3 months worth of music stored away. He uses backup harddrives and just crams them with music.

I still don't have my own computer, but I know I have almost 1000 cd's. It's like 975 or something by now. How many gigs is that?
