I smoked a cigar the other day though - it was nice. I was a little intoxicated at the time and my brother had no idea what kind of cigar it was but his girlfriend gave it to him so that was cool.
Cool work with the Jazz stuff. I can't listen because I only have internet access at work but I'll get my brother to download it.
See you later.

Hey - just didn't work out, crew couldn't go and I didn't have a way up there.
In other news, the girl I was going after... we're still hanging out like a lot, but one of my best friends just walked in my door and asked if I would mind if he went for her. I said no, but I do mind. I don't know what to do about it. Spring Break is this week. What a great way to pu tmore stress on me.
Sigh.
Haven't played footbag in forever.

Awww Max, thanks. Miss the chats from last summer, that was fun. I still haven't played footbag since December, but I've been playing racquetball a lot. I just had spring break and it was alright. Things with the girl are resolved, I think. We're on friendly terms. Now I just have to talk to some of my other friends to straighten things out. I'm re-reading the Bean series (Shadow XXX) of Ender's Game. Shadow of the Giant just came out in paperback. I got a copy, but I have to re-read through the series to get back into it. I'm almost done with the first book, Ender's Shadow. I think I'll finish that by Monday.
Later on.
Later on.

Okay so the situation has developed even more. The friend that asked if I would mind if he went after her started to and I punched him in the face one night and we had a long talk about it. The girl and I are not talking. I am stressed out. And depressed. And I don't know if I want to be here right now. And I just want to kill someone.

Man I was seriously at the end of my rope this past semester. Thank goodness it's over. The girl and I stopped talking altogether, the friend I punched is still best friends with me, I made Dean's List (7 As and 2 Bs), and I'm now working fulltime. I'm going on a trip to Europe July 17th, for a month or so (still in planning stages). In fact, I ended up getting a job in England for one week working a music festival; they're going to pay for room and board, as well as the festival costs. All I have to fund is transportation. Then I'm going to go around Europe for 2-3 weeks. I'm thinking I'll hit France, Italy, and Germany - but maybe more? Any suggestions are welcome.
In new news, I'm going after a girl I've had a MAJOR crush on for two years, ever since the first day we were in English class together. Her name's Lily; she was dating this guy at another college for the two years, but we were still pretty decent friends. Well, he broke up with her a few months ago and I've been hanging out with her a lot lately. The end of my semester actually was great because I was with her a lot and she is so fun to hang out with. We can't date right now because she's not over the other guy, and we're pretty far apart, but I'm hoping next year something will happen. I figure even if it doesn't, she's still a great girl and a great friend.
I haven't played footbag in a while, but one of my old shred buddies (Luke - he posted on the forum a few times) asked me today if I'd want to play this summer. So hopefully that'll happen.

Today she asked me why I am ashamed. I think that is the root of everything wrong with the way I view Christianity. This will not mean anything to anyone else who reads this, but I will need to read this paragraph later on in life.

Weird to have felt that way on Monday and now to feel slightly different. Things are better. I'm actually trying to look at Christianity with a way more open mind. I'm not saying that I'll become a hardcore Christian or anything, but I'm willing to keep going to church with her to see what it's all about - I figure an open mind is better than the half-closed mind I've had towards the subject for the past 6 years. She's a really great girl, and while I was upset when I wrote that post, things are going a little better. I guess in a week even this post will seem odd and foreign to me. Strange what time does.

Ah, Jeremy - dissapointed in me? I really like this girl (don't I like them all?) and hope something will work out, but it will be a long time from now if it does. I almost feel like it's not worth the effort, but my desire to try something with her is way higher than my logic.
I tried to shred yesterday. It was hilarious. Luke and I played for maybe 20 minutes or so at his house. I hit a nice tiltless string. It wasn't even really fun for me though. We ended up sitting outside his house in lawn chairs, sipping ice water and talking about life - and girls.
I had a pretty nice cigar last night - a C.A.O. CX2 Robusto. I've had two of them now. I feel like they are overpriced, but still a nice smoke.
Recently I have become interested in chess. I'm not very good at it, but I've been reading a lot about it, and playing games here and there. It's a fun hobby for me; fairly cheap and enjoyable all the same.
I'm a bit sad that footbag has lost the enjoyment that it used to have, but I suppose that it's always possible that I could enjoy it again later. I realize now that Luke has almost no interest in playing, and that if I was to get back into it, I'd have to do it by myself. A bit upsetting, I suppose.
I finally bought my ticket to Europe! I will be leaving July 17th, staying a week in Birmingham, England, and then... I will finish this later, just got work to do.

I don't like footbag anymore.
This is probably on the top 10 list of worst summers I've had so far. Hopefully it'll improve with Europe.
