It comes and it goes...Sometimes I can hit a couple of datw's and sometimes I even mess up the normal Atw  ...I just don't practice enough...But up to now I havent found a decent place to shred where I am not affected by the weather...Furthermore I'm thinking of studying Jazz (Electric Guitar) and so I need to practice that much much more (2-10 hours a day whereas 10 would be awesome  )

I will absolutely try to be at Euros but if I got my Matura Exams then...bad luck...

We'll see :D and I really want to come so there will be some way

After months of not writing anything related to my progress here an update 8)

Last training at our club I had the most impressive session I ever did...Dropless about 1:20 min...Not many really difficult moves but like butterfly>butterfly>PS Mirage>Far Legover>ATW>ATW>Legover>Pixie>Legover>Mirage>ATW>clipper>clipper>ducking clipper etc. etc....It was awesome and somehow I didn't really get tired at all

Well because I don't pratice much lately I don't hit new moves but all the basics get worse and better and worse again...My personal success is still the Atomic Butterfly and that my stepping is sometimes very very good...I started trying Swirls but they are hell 8O ...

Anyway footbag still is the best sport I can think of and I wish I could stop the time and do all the things I want to (Guitar and Footbag, learn a bit for school which will come to an end this summer 8) etc. etc. etc....)

Back to Life !!

After I went to the 18th Swissjam in Wolhusen I am once again addicted to footbag...The jam rocked with Honza being there and all in all about 30 shredders from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic (guess who ? :D )...During 2 days we shredded, ate Raclette and enjoyed ourselves...Since then I can't stop to think about footbag though the weather over here still sucks and so I can't pratice outside...I still haven't found a decent place to shred so I save all my energy for friday evenings when we have workout with the other Madbags (the club is growin' ;) )...We're also thinking of having more workouts about 2 or 3 per week would be great...

Because I haven't shredded much for so long my skills got worse than better but so I can drill my basics again what I should've done anyway somewhen....Still there are some moves comin nicely which I couldn't hit before, especially my Atomics with the left leg are getting better and better and also my stepping with the left leg is sometimes really really good...Also the ducking and the spinning have rather improved...I've begun to learn Swirl but still most of the time I am hitting good and long basic runs (Clip > op Clip> op Clip > op clip > Far Legover > Ss Mirage > Ss Mirage > Ss Mirage > Legover > Mirage > Atw > Atw > Atw > Atw > Clip > Ducking Clip > Butterfly etc. etc. etc.)

It's so much fun to practice again and I also finally got a multicolor Bag what I always wanted...It's a Ives Bag (from Switzerland) and though he ain't broken in yet I already love it and I still got my very very nice Docbag which is broken in so nicely that he is almost glued to my foot while hitting something  (I will soon post a pic of it)

I will try to keep up this diary again especially when winter is over (what I hope is very very soon) and then I will begin with the sets (after the basic drilling => Toe, Atw, Legover, (Ss) Mirage, Clipper, Butterfly, Osis)...

Keep shreddin' dudes

Soooo...After 2 workouts and 3 times practising outside I think it's time for an update

Of course I am mostly drilling basics like crazy but there are sometimes moves I never hit before or combinations of moves I never hit, such as :

Whirls (I used to think that I could hit them till I realized that I wasn't dexing -- that's over now they're coming nice and smoothly though not yet as combos)

Both sided Ducking Clippers (hit 1 or 2 perfect ducking clippers last workout)

Butterfly> op Ducking Butterfly (Never ever hit a ducking butterfly but it's been about time to move on to bigger things 8) )

Dlo (hit it about 5 times so I may count it to my new shred tricks)

Drifter (also a Trick I used to think that I could hit it but I didn't hit drifter but something very similar the only difference is that the bag passes under both legs not only under the dexing but also under the supporting leg - I forgot the name of the trick though but that doesn't matter whatsoever because now I can hit real Drifters :D )

Osis> ss Osis (cool Combo , all I can say to that  )

Osis> op Osis (same as before)

Butterfly> op Butterfly > op Butterfly > op Butterfly (took so time to get used to it but now I'm beginning to get the trick of it :) )

that's about all I can think of for now

The weather in Switzerland is getting better and warmer so it's time for shredding outside again...Though I always try to practise on my own I seem to be a "kid lodestone" and there are always big four square groups next to me when I'm shredding :D ...I really forgot how much fun a serious session could be

Keep shreddin' everyone

The weather was just perfect today so I went for a nice and long shred. Unfortunately I was the only one who had time to shred the day and I was already quite exhausted from the workout at Friday and the shred at Saturday but nevermind 8)

I kept to the basics and just did Clippers and Osises etc. but it was still a lot of fun and I sure made a lot of progress during the last few days. Except for a few Spinnings and Duckings I didn't hit anything special not even long runs. I tried to do Torque but I never even nearly got it, it's a strange move but thanks to a lot of vids and explanations I will execute it soon enough for sure. At the moment I am really trying to get to a higher level of playing, to leave out the Toe Stalls and replace them at least with 2 - Add or better 3 - Add Tricks. Everything's going great and I hope that tomorrow it will be nice weather again so I can shred like crazy

Keep footbaggin'

Again very nice weather - warm and sunny although not too hot...

Had a long and hard session during which I mostly kept to my basic drilling though there were some runs I didn't have more than two 1-Add Tricks in it out of perhaps about 20 tricks. I tried torque a few times but I only got close to the bag after the dex once. Hit a whirl on both sides (though not in a combo) still it's a rather big success to make so much progress I so little time...
First I didn't really think that I could shred today because I hadn't slept more than two hours last night and my legs were a bit sore from the shredding the last three days but after having watched Jordan Moir's lethal session I wanted to go shred so badly that I couldn't stop myself from going outside with my lavers and my freshly washed bags 8) ....All in all a very good and long session with a few good tricks but mostly nice basic runs and osises

I love to be able to shred so much again and I hope all of you enjoy that sport as much as I do

It was raining all day long today but as long as it isn't cold as ice there is nothing to keep me from shredding at my favourite shred place where I don't get wet nor bothered by the wind. It was like all the last few days basic moves drilling because I really want to have very very good basics to begin with the "real" things this summer
Skooled (how do u write that ? ) my osis on both sides and I'm getting a lot better that's why I began to try Blender...no idea how to hit that one YET  I focused on "how to dex" after the clipper set but I know that I'm still quite far away from hitting blenders...still it's always interesting to try a new trick...
Only a few combos because I really tried to stick to the basic moves and their motions, per example stalling a clipper without setting it right after the stall - keep the bag on the foot.
It was a good session because I really see myself how I'm improving and that is the such a good feeling

Keep shreddin'

Here the pics of my new bag as promised long ago

Here a pic of my new Multicolor Yves Bag

[img] [/img]

Here the new Yves (not broken in yet) and my lovely Docbag (very very broken in)

[img][/img]

Both bags are very nice to shred with and especially the docbag is so broken in that it is almost glued to your foot while hitting a trick 8) [/img]

I will definitely get one of your bags at Euro's I promise  ...I need more bags with only two at the present time I have way too few decent bags and I'm sure that your bags rock :D

Thanks for the nice words about the long run it really was something special...At the moment I am mostly doing like really long runs where I try to execute every single trick I ever executed 8) ...It's fun to have long dropless combos even if there are still some 1 Add Tricks in there...
mahhkohh wrote: EDIT: try turning the clipper > opp clipper into clipper > opp butterfly(infinity)that would make it more cool, well,i cant do alternating clippers, but infinity´s...
Yeah that's exactly what I want to do and what I'm practising so much for - to break the barrier from 1 and 2 Add Strings to 2 and 3 Add Strings...I still have some problems with the infinities but about six or seven butterflies (Bfly > op bfly > op bfly ...) I already executed a few times...I'm also working on my osis really hard so I can add it as easily into a combo as a clipper :D

Anyway I'll do my best to get to worlds too..if not we'll see at Euro's for sure

Another Basic Drilling Session today after I didn't shred yesterday :( ...Today the weather wasn't very good and it changed every thirty minutes from rain to sunshine to cloudy to windy to sunshine again...
It was a nice session, my basics are really getting better and comin great  ...Like always I tried to keep drilling the basics but I also hit a few cool things:

-Drifter on both sides
-Ducking Clipper>op Ducking Clipper
-Stepping Osis
-almost hit a Gyro Mirage on both sides but I always failed to cath the bag after the dex :x
-one combo with 3 adds only containing butterflies, osises, and other dexes out of butterflies, also one ducking clipper and it ended with the spinning clipper which I didn't pull off well enough to catch the bag :D
-Whirl on both sides
-Stepping on both sides especially with the flipside
-Pixie drilling and almost hit pixie osis
-butterfly>op Butterfly>op Butterfly>ducking clipper
-lots of bluries on both sides very nicely

All in all a good and long session and if it wouldn't have got dark I would still be shredding now 8)

Footbag rulez

I haven't mentionned you well enough when I look back on that post so I will make up for it here and now :D

18th footbag jam rocked because the organisation was very nicely done by the members of the FreeHäckyStyle Footbag Club from Wolhusen. Hospitality and kindliness predominated the event and the vibe was just perfect

If you ever have the chance to come to a Swissjam in Wolhusen don't hesitate :)
