thanks mike. i was hoping for more comments, because I spend quite some time making this. 2 comments at 140 views is a bit dissapointing,
to be honest.

Hey Bjoern,
sorry for not replying. I know how frustrating it is to get few or no replies. I really liked the mellowness of the video -- the music helped a lot in this respect.

Really cool effect on the intro text -- I was super impressed :) Did you use After Effects for that? (Was it you who was asking how to use it in another thread?) I've never used After Effects, 'cause the completely legal (¬_____¬) copy I have came with an incorrect registration number.

I think that text alone gives your video a really professional feel, even if every shot is filmed tripod from the same spot. The non-silly, non-popular-culture music helped too -- good choice, it really compliments the shred.

One thing I noticed almost right away was the number of knee braces -- so sad. I saw the two different kinds, two people with the same kind...looked back a few times and realized... is that the same person in the first couple shots at the intro?? (With the facial hair and blue brace...) The two figures are so close together that I can't even tell and I don't noticabley see any seam in the video... It makes me wonder if I should be looking for small editing treats like this throughout the whole video.

Something I'm unsure about is the ending... oh, nevermind. I never thought to check your post for a total time count. My download is only half the length that it should be. Weird. I gotta go finish downloading your video.

Props on the editing and music choice; props on the shred everyone.
Darker-skinned-player: I was particularly impressed with the ducking symp mirage in the same run as the crispy nova -- it looked so easy, like, "maybe I'll just toss this sweetass move in after..." Awesome stuff -- definately a neglected trick.
I will also second the comment about the torques -- styley!!!
Beatrice was looking good too -- some solid tricks!

I loved all the editing tricks to the music. Good stuff.
I think I will watch this a few more times -- there's definate replay value in this video. I've gotta go download the rest of it now though :)

Props!

Sorry Bjoern! I don't know how I didn't comment on this! Super awesome editing (I loved the text at the start and I would love to know how you did some of those effects!), shreditas in bikinis(this would be more appealing to the single guys ou there I guess :P) and awesome shred :D.

Very cool video man, I really dig the effects you used, and I LOVED the sound track, one of the better editing jobs i've seen ever! Keep it up :D

(I would mention the editing effects that I really liked, but I can't explain then lol, they were just cool, kind of a ripple?)

Hi Bjoern, I like the video a lot too. It looks really good when the "blue" filter or whatever that is fades from top left to bottom right at 1:10!
But maybe we can film a lot more from each of us before you relase the next video. Cause DLO > PLO isn't really a cool (still nice) combo for me in the intro of the video. And Bea, Mike and Daryl can play a lot better too (maybe even I can :)). But I know how it feels if you want to release a video. Your editing skills are awesome and you always choose the best music, so just wait for more footage. (I have the tape of a monday sesion here) And release a kickass video from Munich that does justice to the Footbag skills of our team. And btw. our lastname is JAEGER :D

Hey Munich-crew!

Bjoern, in connection with your complaint about the number of views/replies: I ADORE Munich footage and normally I never miss out on a video, but I've been promising myself lately that the maximum size of a footbag video I download must be around 60 megs. I don't know about others, but I think the video size may stop some people to download it - or at least it did in my case.

I hear/read that the editing and shred is really good, so nagging about file size may come across as a little silly. But look upon it as 'just something I noticed' or 'the reason why some people may miss out on this one' rather than a criticism.

Hey Bjoern! I just saw your video...

Soooo nice to see that Munich has a solid shred crew going and it seems like you have fun as well. :D

I enjoyed the editing work and want to see more videos from you in the future. The music was sweet and I liked you kept the video under 6-7 minutes. In my opinion, most productions should be between 4-6 minutes.

A lot of videos in this forum are lacking a solid camera job. For some reason filming often gets less attention than it should. This is not a criticism directly pointed at this video, but in general. Actually there are a lot of opportunities even for amateurs like us. Maybe it should go in a topic for itself, because I could go on for a long time about all the details in filming!

Say hello to the cool crew Dary, Mike & the rest of the Jaegermeister family…

That music was awesome! I had to pause the vid about a third of the way through to go and grab my guitar (first time in months!) to jam along as best I could.

Nice shred from everyone too :) Always nice to see new faces with real skills.

I started the download this morning when I left for school, and when I got back I completely forgot I had started it. A nice little surprise that made my day just a little bit better.

I think that was the first time I've seen any of you shred! It was definitely a treat. Thanks a lot Bjoern!

I enjoyed it. :)

I really appreciate when people align video to audio. Though, I kept hoping for a beat or something to come in to compliment the urban setting...with a track like that, I think an outdoor video would be better. :) I kept thinking about Tuukka's Season Ender with that epic strings track.

Anyway, good work. I'm a big fan of two of the same person on screen too...BYRIN WHY WON'T SPRING GET HERE.

I had to use a download manager to get more than half the video; try that Henry.

daryl: cool stuff hit.i totaly love the ducking symp mirage.

it's a nice, not tooo common trick maby - but in this case, not executed well.
i jump to the side too much and the duck...na ja .
bea: good controled strings.very nice...i wont say something about your bikini ;)
good - so you can actually live long enough to shred with us :D

thanks for commenting everybody .

the best thing about this one is the niceness Bjoern came up with,
and the fact that all the regulars made it into one vid at last .

i just want to play better the next time .

It's actually from a flamenco group called "Son de la frontera".

Thanks, and yes, that's me twice in the intro (and Max twice, too, in the second scene).. :)

I agree that outdoor shred would have fitted the music better, but I've
been wanting to use that song for a shred video so long, and the length
just fit perfectly to the footage, so I thought, what the heck.

Thanks everybody. Wow, first noone replies, and just being a bit dissapointed resulted in so many and nice in-depth replies. Thanks folks!
