help with modding your lavers

i need help modding my lavers, i already laced them the right way but i just need help taking a layer of mesh off. every place i look to help me its way to confusing. can you help me?

dont cut the mesh, cut the inner canvas
some ppl soak the lavers in hot water to soften glue, but its not nescessary

take an xacto knife or something sharp (steak knife)
youll cut nearest the stitching on the inside, or outside or toe. dont cut the mesh! or the stitches, just the canvas
cut the inner canvas, but not too deep. youll have to keep the mesh uncut to keep the shoe looking clean, and staying together longer.

after you have a finger sized hole in canvas, pull the canvas away from mesh, and continue to cut away canvas from mesh. do so until canvas is removed to the best of your ability.

Thats where I went when I did my mod, and it came out perfectly. But make sure to use a hairdryer to loosen the glue or you will have problems. Also, when making the first cut do it VERY VERY carefully, or you will cut a hole in the mesh... not good but fixable, and its easy to avoid doing. Just work slowly with some good light and a very sharp exacto knife. You'll need to see what your doing so you can do it well.

There is nothing wrong with cutting off the mesh and its a mod I will always do to any of my lavers
