Well, I had a good session with FunkLovesFootbag today . . . lasted about 4 hours or so. I hit blurry whirl>symp whirl bs, but thats nothing special. I was esp. proud of hitting 227 guiltless contacts over 10 consecutive runs. I had 2 runs of 40+ contacts and 2 runs in the mid-high 30s. I skooled flip toe blender, flip whirling swirl, and i hit 9 consec strong swirls. I hit whirling swirl bsos 5 times in this session, which was one of my challenges, which felt nice. Ive been working on that one (albeit not very hard) for about a year now.

Unfortunately, my personal life is not going as well as footbag lately. Ive been pretty unhappy. Just so you dont get all worried about me, I might be away from modified for a while. I think Ill have to buy a computer before I start posting again regularly. You'l hear from me again soon hopefully. Oh, I forgot, I will be able to check modified when Im at work  , so I guess you can disregard my last statements. But, I'll add that I wont be on AIM, because I dont have AIM at work.

Sometimes life can really suck. I have no real friends near me besides Dat, Emily, and Fletcher. They're really my "footbag friends-" I don't know if there is a difference between the two. I guess I would be screwed if it weren't for footbag, because then I'd have practically nobody to turn to. I guess I should really just be sending this heavy stuff to myself through a PM, because personal bullshit isn't supposed to clog Modified or my blog. I guess I just want the satisfaction of knowing that some other people will finally know just a portion of how Im feeling and what Ive been going through lately, because I haven't really felt able to tell anyone in 3 months or so. Well, I feel miserable.

EDIT: Since the last time I wrote, a few things have been decided. Amelia and I are no longer together as a couple. She moved out three days ago. She stopped loving me. As you can imagine, Im basically utterly devastated, as I had little to no idea that her feelings about me were changing the way they were. I guess it started right after Chicago. So, now Im really lonely and Im not ready to be alone after almost 4 years. I basically went from happily coupled for 3.5 years, to mostly-happily coupled for 3 additional months, to alone in 3 days. I guess I'll be hanging out with the SCSC (shred coalition) a bit more in the coming weeks and months .

Hey,
it's always good to write your feelings, and it's even better if you do it in a public place. It always makes you feel better, so do it everytime you can.

BTW... When travelling with a train I met... A guy who looks exactly like you :P
The same hairs, the same facial hairs, the same glasses, the same height, and body time... When he came in to mine compartment, the first thought I had was "Jeremy Mirken!"...

Hehe... Maybe everyone has his own look-alike somewhere on the world?

Keep shredin'

I'm sorry I didn't notice this earlier.. since I shredded with you the last few sessions I wasn't reading this. Though I've never been in a serious relationship with somebody for that long, I'm no stranger to heartbreak. I'm getting choked up just writing this actually. One thing I want to say about that though, is that it never helps when someone tells you it will get better. But it will. It never goes away completely but it sucks less and less.

I have no real friends near me besides Dat, Emily, and Fletcher. They're really my "footbag friends-" I don't know if there is a difference between the two.

I don't think there is a difference. I'd still hang out with you if we weren't footbaggers. In fact, I think of you and Emily more as family. You two are pretty much the only reason I like this town.

I guess I'll be hanging out with the SCSC (shred coalition) a bit more in the coming weeks and months .
That's fine by me homie. I'm here for ya.

Thats very to hear Fletcher "Way with Words" Funk. I'll take that to heart. Since you brought my blog to the top, I might as well post the highlights of yesterday's marathon session with Fletch and Emily.

I skooled tomahawk for a short while cause I suck at that move. After yesterday's skooling, I still suck. but I did manage to hit it both sides many times.

Tomahawk>tomahawk> run with ps to ps and a bl wh
Blurry drifter>tombstone (2 times!)
Pdx whirling swirl>rev up 8)
Janiwalker>pdx whirling swirl > run with ps>ps and a blurry whirl, drop on blurriest

Jeremy might not be online this weekend, so I'll answer that Jeremy was at CSS7 so he's probably the person you met. :-)

Jeremy,

There's no need to beat yourself up for something that's not the case. You do have footbag, and you do have people who care about you. And if you didn't have footbag, you wouldn't be sitting at home with no friends. You're a social person who is easy to like, you won't ever be completely alone if you don't want to be.

There is a difference in my opinon. But in our case, if asked to describle what you are I'd say a "close friend" before I'd say "shred buddy." If I stopped playing footbag, we would definitely still be friends, hang out, and have good conversations. We'd just have to find new things to do while hanging out. :-) (Bowling? We could join a league!) I'm glad you, Fletch and I have an excuse to hang out more outside of footbag.

Love,
Your friend Emily
