Why does every one take out the inner cavas? If you cut out the mest you are left with a more grippy surface.

Mesh is thinner and and more flexible. It's the touch, I don't think canvas is that grippy that it would give a lot more advantage compared to mesh.

Plus, taking out the inner canvas makes the shoe more presentable with the thin outer mesh for freestyle. It's a just a matter of how much feel you want when you freestyle, and how long you want to break in your shoes. Lavers with the inner canvas exposed takes a long time to break in.

is you don't feel like doing a visible broka, you can just cut the leather, open it up and take the foam out, and fold it back down. residual glue will basicly keep it there

What are you talking about? Don't you think Red and White looks more bad ass then just all red? and how much thiner is the mesh compaired to the canvas? To me its not the much of a difference and you still get a very good feel of the bag (btw Blue and white insides look badass)

people don't see red and white vs just all red. They only see cut up shoes.

I dunno. My Red Lavers look pretty badass with a dirtied white sole and some aged sharpie mods on them. Having the red mesh left on them looks pretty pimpin'. It's the Twill variety that I took out the outer layer, and they look pretty badass as well. And the mesh is much much thinner than the canvas, trust me. I mean you could feel them and you will know. It's just based on personal preference really, so if you're cool with the canvas left on, that's good. It makes for a stiffer shoe and less ventilation sure, but you get a better grip when you start shredding in them.
