we really need to get cic and palatine footbagers to unite i the future like this weekend. i (from palatine) really want to get together to shred outdoors or inside crazylegs racketball room unless u CICers are to chicken to play some freestyle?Bakok Bakok(chicken sounds)

If you come out here this summer you may get to see the asian couple who beat their bodies while they work out(Im serious, maybe its 4 circulation?) The raquetball court is a little stuffy to fill up with people but we will make a jam out here this year that you should bring your 4square playin ass out too. btw- as a further example of why cic membership should be looser, all the kids out here thought everyone at the jam was cic until I told them a couple days ago. they thought fotb, scott, sean, and everyone that wasnt from out of town was cic...

I think every one of those people you mentioned would play till their dying breath whether or not they were CIC. They would play because they love the sport, not because they wanted to be part of our silly club.

They are inclusive, it's not like they don't kick with people who aren't in the club. I think earning membership into CIC is something that pushes people more than just automatically being in a club because you live somewhere. It wouldn't mean anything if the membership was given away, that's part of why the club is so cool. The other part is because they're some of the best people in the world.

I guess this isn't really my business, since I don't even live there, but if it were a private conversation it would be had in private instead of on a public forum.

It seems like you may have some ill conceived notions spawned by jealousy and resentment.

Its nice to see how cic no longer posts the shred times= big increase in chicago shredders I'm sure.

I think it's b/c it's winter, and we don't have real jams right now.

Palatine already has more shredders than chicago LOL. I have welcomed the cic but they have ignored the most productive shredz in Illinois In years. Whats up?

I'm glad you think you have more shredders and that your crew is the most productive in years. But we haven't ingored anyone. We have invited Kaushik out many times, but he's usually busy with school or extracurriculars (which is cool), and I've invited Jeff out b4 he knew anyone else, hooked him up with info on NYJ and Kaushik (as far as I know), and we used to chat all the time.

It's not a popularity contest. It's a group of friends who freestyle together. If you don't freestyle or you're not a friend (that we kick with often) then you're not in the club. Any club name is just a label that denotes a particular group. There is a club that all those people you mentioned and us are in too - the one we call "freestylers that live in Illinois."

I suck with directions but if u wanna come ill get on it. we are playing today (saturday) with me, Jon, Chris, Kuashik(maybe?) and one of the raye brothers. Jon also email eric siegel so thats a possibility. Playing around 4-6 i do believe....

And yes we have a boombox....but not the best shred tunes

hey jon if u need a mp3 for cheap my friend runs a buisness(wink wink nudge nudge) and he gets dicounts(wink wink nudge nudge) so if u need a pretty good mp3 for like a 100$ depending on what u want i can probably get one for u
