It's based on Thomas More's "Utopia" and Geoffrey Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales."
I've been given a paper topic to relate both authors' views about human nature and society that are shown in their writing. The only thing that I can come up with is the Pardoner's persona based from his Prologue and Tale in relation to More's view on gold and silver as chains bound around criminals.
