i got pretty good at it for a while, i could do a bunch of tricks on both hands and even some at the same time. i bought a klutz book about yo-yo and that helped me a lot.
I actually started a huge craze over it in my school. I was the best! The best in my school that is. It was fun. I hope to get back into it, but my yo yo is out of commision and I don't have the money to buy a new one right now.
I'm starting to gain interest in it. I got a Duncan yo-yo with an instructional CD-rom and I'm trying to pick up basic tricks.
What yo-yo did you get for $200?!?
"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."
I played a bit in high school when yo yos became popular. Everyone had pro yo IIs and some had these mechanical (sleeps and spins for ages easily) ones. I had a pro yo II.
I could walk the dog, rock the craddle, atw forward pass thing and a couple of other simple tricks.
back when i was in elementary school and beginning middle school there was a professional yo-yoer in my grade and he preformed in front of the whole school.
