one of the craziest days of my life...
so my parents left for St. Croix until next tuesday, and i didnt have anything to do all day yesterday. and my mom mentioned before they left: 'if anyone needs to move the car (a large silver mini-van), the keys are here.' of course once i got the idea to steal it once they left, i couldnt get the thought of my head. so i did it. i took a picture of how much gas it had in it, and the positions of all the corners of the bumpers...because my dad is crazy and parked it in the most ridiculous spot, so it would be out of the way. one corner was resting perfectly against the bumper of their other car, and the front was inches away from a trailer...i had no idea how i would ever get it back in. but i was so set on the plan, that i took it anyway. i drove over to my old high school and picked up some friends, driving like 50 on back streets, doing hugely illegal u-turns, passing people on the wrong side of the double yellow lines, weaving in and out of traffic, etc. i also met up with a friend of mine who is used to 'dealing' with interesting situations, if you catch my drift. i quit smoking almost two weeks ago, but the guy said he had h*ze, so i decided to pick up a bag for a friend. so i was driving back home to chill with another friend when my cell phone rang while i was driving. my sister. if she knew i was driving, she would tell my parents, being a bitch. i panicked, turned down the music, whipped around a corner, and saw a car heading straight for me. it was a very thin one way street, i was already halfway down it, no where to go, and there was a cop car with lights flashing pulling in right behind me. and i had a bag in my pocket.

hey guys, 8 or so hours later, and im back home! onto the unadulterated conclusion to my tale.
now when i "borrowed" my parents car (if your still wondering some about that, my parents havent ever allowed me to drive their car, except when i had my permit and they were teaching me. they are under the false impression that because we are in the same house, i wouldnt be covered under their insurance or something. at any rate, they would NEVER let me touch their car, especially with them not there), another one of the first things i checked was if the registration was in the glove-compartment. i was well aware that if i was to take the car and drive irresponsibly (i SWEAR when i first took it i made myself vow to drive very carefully...the highlight of my later driving was driving between two lanes of oncoming traffic to do an illegal u-turn, if you can picture it), i would have to acknowledge the possibility of being pulled over. so i made sure it was there ahead of time and shuffled it out for the cop as soon as he asked for it. he took it, yelled at me for awhile, walked back to his car and sat in the drivers seat, writing. in the mean time, i very very smoothly (without moving my upper body at all) moved the bag (yes...the 'footbag' from my pocket into the bottom of my shoe. the cop sat writing for what felt like an eternity. it was probably about 15 minutes. in the mean time i thought everything through. i was thinking: "its obviously a ticket, as it was taking so long to be written, and i couldnt not deal with it, so i WOULD be busted by my parents. ok, thats that. if i can get away with not be arrested for the so-and-so, that would be cool" finally he comes back and gives me...the warning. tells me to wake up, and directs traffic so i can slowly turn around, and slowly drive towards my house. as soon as i got out of sight, i parked on a side street and slumped on the wheel, first exhausted and shaking, then gails of laughter ensued. i got back to the house, and i was so stressed out still that i decided the only option was to get rid of the you-know-what the quickest way i knew how.
setting it on fire
so i did...first time in almost 2 weeks. then i realized i had to get the car back where my crazy dad parked it...i had my friend completely direct me as i wasnt feeling my best for some reason. we went an inch at a time, with him motioning the wheel to go left or right, and pointing forward to drive and back to reverse. i trusted him completely...didnt expect much anyway, still assumed i would get busted by my parents. the car was also a wreck from my insane driving, with my moms stuff all over the place, empty soda bottles, etc trashed everywhere. so i parked, hopped out, and looked.
it was perfect.
i couldnt believe it! my friend never even saw where the car originally was, and now you couldnt tell it had even been moved. the rear right bumper juuuust resting against the car behind it, the front bumper locked inches away from a trailer hitch. incredible. i almost cried tears of joy at the thought that i very well MIGHT get away with this. my parents come back next tuesday...i have until then to make sure all my moms stuff looks ok.
the afterward=
called my sister back (remember? she called me while i was driving, distracting me...i ignored the phone ringing because i was busy pulling over...) she wanted to hang out and watch a movie with my, because my parents asked her to check on me while they were gone. and here i was not in my right mind, and still with more hanging out to do. so i took the train downtown, set fire to another small forest (if yah feel say 'yeeeeah'), ran back home, and went out with my sister to see Dave Chappelle's Block party, which kicked ASS and she had no idea.
not a bad day at all

also, ironically i completely forgot another reason the day was actually a lot of fun, despite being insanely tiring. i even managed to fit like 3 hours of footbag in, half with some skaters downtown watching, and half at my house while i was there.

yeah, i dont know about massachutes either. but in MY state (closely related massachusetts) you would be correct. the laws are fairly rigid, and most of the cops are just as strict. but there are a few lazy ones around, thankfully.
i forgot to thank anyone who read my story, except jorden, because it obviously wasnt good enough for him

Dude this story rocks. Not just because it's intense, but because it's so ideal. This represents so well all the times that you think you're gonna get into a LOT of trouble, and some how you manage to slip through. The most relieving feeling in the world.
Good luck with not getting caught by the parents!

And then your parents read Modified...
That's how I got cought once, I posted something, and one of my friends saw it, and thier parents saw it, then they told my parents. That sucked hardcore!
