Well, as most know, after Valentines Day, came weds and thurs. Took some more finals, got a 90 % on weds, and a 70% on Thurs which brought my Pediatrics to a 75%. All this mumbo jumbo was posted here - My Crisis . I'd like to thank anybody that took the time to give me some advice, because everyone that did, helped me find myself just that much more.
So I really don't have footbag news since I've just been exercising. Workouts have been going really well, I've been staying more consistant than usuall and can tell with physique in both lower and upper body. I'm not training to become some body builder like Ales - but I've been exercising since surgery to become a more fit person. My goal would be to be able to lift myself in compomising positions easily, have efficient muscle tone, more lengthened and stronger muscles, and to become overall strong for my size - this should help in everything I do, I don't want it to hinder anything.
Soo... onto my life - I've talked to my adviser - not the teacher I somewhat despise. We've worked out a good bit and have figured out that I won't have to start classes next quarter. I will use that quarter to study on my own and prepare myself for a comprehensive test that is on 6 different classes. Nothing is in concrete yet, but I'm more pleased with this than the previous. I'm going to take it on myself to write up study guides for all the classes and to take it into the teacher to let her glance over it, make sure I'm hitting the right spots.
After talking to Kim (adviser / professor) , I called the owner / boss of where I work - told him my situation and was quite understanding and sympathetic of my situation. So today I talked to Rich - who is my boss for the most part - I'll be starting near full time work until I have to take my comprehensive test... He asked me before what to tell others, if he wanted himself to run along with something I said. I'm not really like that though, I told him today that there is only a simple answer to why I'm not in the program any longer - I didn't pass one class, and that's all it took, short and simple. So now all I have to do is just figure out the finer points with school and what needs done, until then, work/work/work !!! Hopefully with the extra cash, I can start fixing up my car... (new tires, new cable to hood, oil change, windshield wipers changed, fluid changed, sticker updated, and possibly breaks changed).
So that now = the longest post non footbag related in my blogger I believe. Hopefully I'll start encorporating more footbag into my exercise soon enough. Brad / Bob - what the hell have you 2 been into at college that keeps you busy ? And please don't tell me WoW

Glad things are looking up for you hood! Haha, do Brad and Bob play WoW! I quit that before it stole my life. Besides, the few hours it took me to beat Gradius 2 were WAAAAAAY more rewarding then the infinite amount of time one can spend on WoW. Haha.
Yeah where the hell have you two been anyway?!

Good to hear you're getting everything straightened out, John! I'm really proud that you are following your dreams and aren't letting pride or a little bit of failure keep you down. If everyone followed your example, I think people would be a lot happier overall.

Played last night with the G6's. My legs felt pretty solid with a bit more strength than usual. I want to get back into the footbag routine of 3 times a week, but I also wanna keep pushing my exercise routine. So I think somehow I'm going to buy a weighted medicine ball or two and do some of my work out at a playground or something nearby my house. I have been getting into the routine of using less and less machines and exercising with more dynamic gravity based exercises. A lot of my exercises I've been working in takes 2 people, because I've been my buddy's trainer.
When I was playing I was really trying to think why I would drop when I dropped. I tried not to just mindlessly shred and keep going, I would pick the bag up, reproduce what I just did and kinda analyze what was going wrong, how to make techniques better, and make it easier on myself. With that said, it was a pretty productive night and it felt good to kick again - good solo vibe.
In the thought of Caleb
- Tip of the session - When you drop - think what went wrong and why it dropped, compare what makes it different on both sides, and whatever you figure out, try to make a conscious effort to fix it.

Well, I guess it's been about a month since I've kicked judging from the last time I've posted in here. I've been playing guitar, playing WoW, or just normal school activities. Been taking it easy. No hectic schedule or anything. Just focusing on one thing at a time. I got WoW for free which is why I'm playing it. I doubt I'll keep the subscription after the first month because I will have to pay for it then, but it's fun for now. Also being able to play with friends from home is cool.
I'm doing pretty well in my classes except for trig. It's the only one I think is a waste of my time, so I don't pay it the attention I probably should. I consciously say "Do your homework," but it doesn't happen. I still have a B average, but it's because I did really well on the first exam when I did do my homework. I set out a time slot tomorrow to catch up.

That's my baby. It's not the most high-end guitar, but it's more than enough for my skill level. Plus I got it for so cheap, I practically stole it. I'm having fun with it. Maybe I'll be good when I'm 30.
I need to find an apartment to live in next year. I'm sure that'll be a trial...Bob is coming to school here next year. He'll probably be my roommate. Maybe we'll shred more often then. I don't think he's played since Chicago, haha.
Chinese food rules!
Edit: Oh yeah, I went home last weekend for the tri-birthday party for three of my friends. It was pretty cool. Not as fun as last year, but still a good time. The dancing I saw was great. Those kids have moves you've never heard of. After things cooled down, I put on Rush then my friend Jeff and I rocked out for a good half hour. You were supposed to bring a 10 song mix to be made into a gigantic mix. I forgot to do it so I did what I thought was best and played straight Rush when I got ahold of the computer
I played a game of beer pong where I hit all 6 cups in 7 shots. I'm pretty good, but that was a record for me. Never seen a perfect game, but I think I can do it.

Well, another evening session comes to an end. And again I've switched back and forth in the middle of my session between lavers and gunits. It's killing me !!! I feel like I sometimes struggle to keep smoothness with my gunits, or that I'm using too much energy, yet my consistancy is a lot better. The lavers though have a lot better toe boxes so all my sets and such are more consistant... Whenever I shred with lavers, I feel more free and light, but I drop a ton more on my inside surface. On the right nights I feel like I'm on fire with my G units, and other nights, I switch to lavers cause I get frustrated. I want the best of both worlds, but I just can't have it T_T.
Also, since so many people half'assed liked the 'bad reputation' vid, I'm thinking Caleb and myself should meet up sometime at WVU and make another vid. I will edit that and add it ontop of the bad reputation vid so it will even out with more shred. I think it's a swell idea. This weekend I should be getting my car completely fixed up so any weekend after this would be swell.
Tip of the day : Gear is important, but mindset and practice is key.

Ditch the Lavers, stick to the G-units. You will improve and you will become faster. Whatever you dont feel comfortable with in the G-units can only be dissolved by playing more in them, not by second guessing them as your primary equipment. You are hurting yourself by switching back and forth.

Had a full g-unit session. Felt great !!! I'm trying to get all the rust out for the Slap Hack event. I'm really hoping to go even though I'll prolly get there when everyone is gone... Hopefully some of the real freestylers will stick around till later in the evening or something.
Nothing huuuuge, but it was an overall solid session, everything felt like it was coming back in place. ripwalk > barfly bsos , drifter x 10 , diving clipper > ducking clipper > rpt > diving butter > ducking butter > rpt > ducking butter > string.
I layed down a good $400 + dollars on my car this week so it's pretty well fixed up and good to go. The only thing missing is the sticker on my car that went bad on 9 / 05- hahaha. Work is going well, I'm coping with the not passing that test and realized it is just some bullshit that has come my way. One test to cause this much lag and confusion is just maniacle. I guess I'll just come back, "stronger, harder, faster, better' and hopefully with a mindset to tackle the fuck out of the classes and shove it right up kathy's ass. Yeah...still kinda bitter bout it, can you tell ?
I think I like the modified.in better, but I'm just so used to .ca I can't let it goooo... in is like...'cool' , 'with it' , it's 'in' . So i guess that's why it's better or something like that. Someone said it's too bad it's not www.modified.dex - That would be the shiz for sure. Anyways, I'm outta here to get back home and stuff my face. I think I'll make some rice/ vegies/ fried chicken for today and tomorrow's lunch... yuuuum !!

Slap Hackers Review:
I won't go too far in depth over this hein event, but let me tell you, odd. I drove near 6 hours and 1 of those was in a forest with winding roads. I don't have any phone reception and the gas was getting low. Even better, the beautiful forest was becoming a scary dark one with every minute. I finally get into the Warren area when my phone comes back to service. I get a call from Caleb and I thought he said ," Every one already left" so I was pretty damned bummed. I really thought some freestylers were going to stay over night or atleast say hello to me.
So once I finally find the place called Snuffies, I walk in and there is a table full of familiar faces. A bunch of freestylers, so apparently I misheard what Caleb said, and he said "Everyone is going to leave" or something of that nature. I got to see a lot of friends and the feeling I had was so odd. It was that warm feeling that you get when you see everyone, yet I was going to have to say goodbye to them in like 20 minutes because they were all leaving that night. It was as if I felt like I had been there the whole day and experienced the event, but no, I just got there and in 20 minutes said goodbye. So after that long ass drive, Caleb, Jake, Brad, and myself decide to drive back to Pittsburgh and party or do something fun. So before we took off, I grabbed a very large bottle of pineapple rum and some sprite and headed back to Pittsburgh.
Caleb told me all about the event, and in my thoughts, it was pretty much a joke. I guess it was meant mostly for casual hackers and the blough chi stuff >___<. I heard it was lead by a 15 year old, the dad who judged it, knew nothing about freestyle, and the prizes were hilarious. 2 Words, Action figures.
Had a great time once I got back to Pitt thought, partied it up "like it was motha fuckin 1982". Went to a keg party above us, but brought my own goodness. That pineapple with rum really did the job, pretty damned good to ~! I highly recommend. Later that night, at like 3 Am, Jake and I decide to go shred outside. We found a spot by a car dealership. We played so horrible, it was hilarious. I couldn't hit more than 5 contacts, neither could Jake. We prolly played for 30 minutes or so and like 5 minutes in the rain. Came back to the apartment and couldn't even get in. It was like 4 am, and we were just banging the hell out of the door trying wake caleb up. After a good 5-10 minutes Caleb finally got to the door. We walk in and see Brad asleep on the floor fully clothed with shoes on, no blanket, no pillow, just out... too funny. Best part was he was like 15 ft from the door, and that didn't wake him up.
Sunday shred was tight !! After we sobered up some, we played from 2:30 - 4 or so. Played in this classroom, but we had no music. So caleb went back to get some music, he told me he had a suprise... When he walked in, I guess he got some of those people from the party to see what footbag was. Apparently they saw him with a boombox and asked him if he was going to a dance party or something. He told him he was a professional hacky sacker, lol, so he needed music. That was that, and they tagged along. So when the music started, these crazy assed people started dancing on the desks as we played footbag. Fun vibe, good shred. Thanks caleb for pushing my game and almost killing me.
I should be back to Pitt on the 24th of this month. There is gonna be a crazy big Dog Show and a crazy big party too...

I was going to write about the weekend, but got sidetracked and half of it got entered when my computer started going crazy so I just edited it out. I thought I'd do it again though this will be the condensed version.
So John and I drove about 8-9 hours to Pittsburgh which is normally a 3 hour drive. Only we could do that. The drive wasn't so bad and we had a little fun with the car ahead of us with a roman candle.
I brought my Ipod so we had all my awesome music at our disposal. We arrived in Pittsburgh at 10 o'clock I think and pretty much busted out the rum immediately. It was an interesting night for me to say the least. We got invited to a party upstairs while searching for the elevator guard. "WHO GOES THERE?" After taking a few games to warm up, I showed my beer pong mastery to the poor kids of Pitt. That's about the time when my memory starts to fade. I remember bits of walking around the streets and going to a gas station with some people from the party. I'll end this here.
The next day we played some footbag in a classroom. I played okay. The rust on my blades were obvious, but it wasn't as bad as I predicted. Caleb has got mad hacking skills. John is a true patriot. And Jake impressed dance off kids. At some time I twisted my ankle a bit. It didn't start to hurt until later that night, but luckily it didn't swell too bad so it should be good in a week or too I think. After we hung out at Calebs apartment for a while. Jake left during the shred.
I like hanging out with Jake because he's as laid back if not more than me. Caleb is the President of Pittsburgh. What else is there to say? He makes shit happen. See you guys again in a couple of weeks!

Good news everyone ~! Today was nice and productive and I am in a better mood than ever. Despite previous setbacks, I'm quite content as of now. I went to the best concert ever - Dream Theatre and had a blast. Trully amazing what the human body can creative. I also met a wonderful lady named Leah, and well, she's wonderful. Hopefully I'll be seeing more of her.
Exercised during lunch - layed out lots of squat exercises, lunges with weights, dips on dynamic 8" steps, leg curls with dynamic surface. Then after work, I exercised again for the upper body a bit more. I warmed up before shred with some interval biking and you'd think I'd be dead from the day, but my legs are feeling pretty strong. As we speak, I'm taking a breather, haha. I hit some great strings and am completely motivated by the thoughts of going to Pittsburgh this weekend to see ma boys.
The Steel City Shred Off planning is so much fun and keeps me motivated, and I yet again...wish I lived there. As of now, I'm the organizer and delegater which doesn't make much sense since I'm living in West Virginia, but I've taken it upon myself glady! So I've worked on the website a bit and will work some more on it this week. Jake and Caleb are hopefully hard at work in their territory gettin the info / venue down. PUMP ! This month can't get much better, I feel as if I'm on a roll...all I needed was a push from good friends to keep myself on track. It seems like every other weekend I've went somewhere out of town... It's definitely a nice change to have a full pay check.
Tip of the Day: (fortune cookie I got over the weekend) If you continually give, you will continually have.

In about 3 hours, I'm gonna take off to Pittsburgh...with a girl ?? First time I've mixed a footbag weekend with a girl, so we'll see how it goes (how i screw it up
) Should be fun though, because it's going to be Party / Sleep / Eat / Dog Show / Footbag / Dog Show / Eat / Collaborate for SCSO / whatever. So it's not all footbag atleast.
I bought all sorts of goodies, we both have slight soar throats so I bought som Mac'n'Cheese to make at calebs, enough for both Leah and I, and Caleb cause he is the man !! Also got some Chunky soup, water, sugar free throat drops (diabetic). Isn't this an interesting blog entry about groceries ??? Yeah, I thought so too. I will also be taking the camcorder so expect a dope diggity dank video within a month.

Great weekend for the most part. Took off way late on Friday night after Leah came over. We took off at like 11:30 PM or so to Pittsburgh guessing that nobody would have any party left in them, we were pretty much right. After finding drunken Caleb in the city we had to drive him back...oh shit, I locked my keys in the car. So we had to make a few calls to find a wire hanger, flat head screw driver, and needle nose plyers and BAM, I was breakin into my car in no time. Foolish Caleb didn't know of my MacGyver skills and was calling some transport service while I was getting into my car. I didn't really have the right tools, but it worked out.
Got some great sleep in somebody elses bed, buahahaha. Woke up late and fixed Caleb and Leah some Shells and Cheese, we then met up with Jake and took off to the dog show. It brought back some great memories, everything was still set up the same as 2 years ago. We made our rounds to the dogs and agility course. Interestingly enough, the very first dog I got my camera on tried to attack me but missed the camera and my hand. We played for an hour or so as poor Leah watched on the sidelines, she fell asleep as expected. It's too bad I can't keep people's attention yet with awesome skill. Instead I drop so much they fall asleep
.
To make this short, the weekend really kicked ass. It was great seeing Caleb and Jake as always. Got some decent footage and uploaded half of it today. Started the intro cause those are always my favorite parts. I really haven't figured out the music I want to use, but maybe tomorrow I'll find one. I really hate uploading and picking what to capture onto my computer. Way too time consuming and mind draining. The editing part though I thoroughly love. I can't wait till I get all the clips ready to put together however I like. It should be like the usual vids I make, good quality with messin around and shred. Since a lot of people said there wasn't enough shred in the last video...they're going to get the same amount of shred and more DOGS to spite them, j/k . Anyways, I need some sleep...

Ha ha ha
So sometimes I fall asleep in other people's bed...but this time the person wasn't in town so it wasn't like...I got drunk and took his bed while he was home partying with me and beating me up because I bit his finger and ate someone's rose
Anyways, here are a couple pictures Leah took.

The Cathedral in the background with some pimp statue gettin some love in front.

O'Fries- Open 24/7 to give all of Pittsburgh that extra nudge towards a heart attack.

Leah and myself infront of the statue, but with my photo skills, it looks like we're in heaven.

Ontop of the convention center, picture of the one and only Burgh

First date at Fusion, eat'n all the eel I can get my hands on...and she liked it too !!! What a winner.
