if so, why not post it in the .org forum too?
i understand why modified feels like the better place for most of you.
but still i find it disturbing that a lot of you use .orgs infrastructure to store their vids but "forget" to post it in its forum.
but maybe thats only me... what do you think about it?
btw: i searched for a similar topic but couldnt find one due to a horrendous number of threads containing my keywords.
if the mods think this is the wrong section please move it.

Showing your vids over there too would be cool for the community of all footbaggers.
Do not expect many replies but be sure everyone who will be able to see your vid at forg for the first time will thank you ( maybe not post but in mind) and all those who saw the vid at modified for the first time won't care that there is the same topic over there too.
I cannot remember that it is forbidden to post personal vids there.
I hope that this post is not meant to be some kind of reproach, because it is up to each person where to post his art.
Ask yourself how motivating a new vid could be and remember that posting it only here will exclude many other shredders from watching it.

I've got to be honest, the reason I don't post anything (let alone videos) there is because of the extreme lack of feedback. It seems totally unappreciated when you post a video there and it doesn't get a single reply, it's pretty pathetic. What makes it worse is that if you do get a reply it's from some retard who wants to know how that guy got so good at hacky sack

I'm all for pushing the community but footbag.org's forum is undermoderated and overpopulated with newbs. I think the only remedy to the problem is to combine with modified. This will benefit the newbs because they have much more people to answer their questions and can observe what goes on in an active footbag community, and it won't halm the experianced players, they still get to discuss footbag and get feedback to their videos

...I had trouble getting on modified because, super-early in my footbagging career, I made an account with the e-mail adress that I use; then I forgot about it. I had to make a bunch of new e-mail adresses before I was finally able to activate an account! It sucked. I was sooooo sick of f.org by the time I finally got on modified. It took sooo long for any questions I had to be answered properly....
I love modified, but it is thanks to footbag.org that I really got into footbag in the first place. I respect my roots.

Footbag.org is a great advertisement for footbag and it's what most people see first, it is the online face of footbag, but the rest of it's body sucks! Ago too much moderation was on forg- that changed!
If there are too many newbs - hah that is the best thing the sport could have.
The problem is that people stay newbs for way too long due to the fact that they do not get that many qualified replies to their questions.
What is a possible solution in my opinion:
Go over to forg:
1.)
Add the moderators from here over there too and go over.
2.)
You can subscribe both forums as a rss feed so you are able to keep track of both boards in one feedreader.

Having a board to stay underground and non official for people who like to handle it that way is okay and definitely worth to exist.
Having the main community on this board and excluded from newbs is just not good.

Guess how important a good community is for people who start a sport where they want to talk about , ask for advice , watch others playing.

Are you doing anything to change this or are you just going to criticise? Probably the significant problem with footbag.org and with IFPA related stuff is that there are so few people doing anything at all - especially freestylers.
