Yap that's a point...I've been to Munich very recently and though I speak German very well (I've been to Germany a lot when I was younger so I grew up with both versions of German - swiss and "normal" one) I sometimes had problems to understand what those people said...but Swiss German really is a strange language I have to admitmahhkohh wrote:lol...have i mentioned to one of youi swiss guys that your version of german sounds soooo funny, and reads even funnier?if not...it does,bu i guess,if you hear my version of german you would think just the same

Yesterday was again workout at Heerbrugg, Madbags shredding
It was one of the sickest, hardest and best workouts I've ever had
2 hours and a half of absolute shredding to the complete and altogether exhaustion
I hit tons of new things and also lots of nice combos...I don't remember everything I hit but here a some things I do remember
Atomic ss Osis
Atomic op Osis
Stepping ss clipper (I never tried that one though I can hit ripwalks really good already
)
Stepping op Clipper (same as ss clipper - never tried it until yesterday)
Pixie op Legover
Clip>op Clip>op Butterfly>op Clip> Ripwalk > Blury> ss Mirage> Atomic Butterfly
Almost hit a Ducking Whirl and Stepping Whirl and also Paradox Dlo
We played until we couldn't lift our legs anymore and we had soooo much fun
It was a really great session and though I couldn't really walk anymore when I got home I have no muscle ache today so that means I will go for a shred
Keep shreddin'

I will definitely go for those infinities
I don't have a challenge blog because I think that it's not really useful (yet)
but you can post challenges in this blog if you want I will try to get them done
I will definitely challeneg you too if you want
Btw: Had a small session today nothing special and it was pretty windy so I dind't get to shred much...also even if I don't have a muscle ache I'm just too exhausted from the session yesterday...Nevermind it was an easy session and I forgot something I hit yesterday : Datw in to out dexterity

Sooo once again a nice session outside (though like always all on my own
) Well what has happened ?
Most of the time I tried to ameliorate my Pixie Set with both legs, I can already hit Pixie op Legover quite well and sometimes my Pixie Set is already waist high
I tried to get the 10 infinites but unfortunately only hit 4 yet
well I will hit those 10 soon I'm sure (Go me
)
Hit Datw out to in dex with my right foot so now I can soon proceed to Double Downs
though I still want to get the Datw's on both legs in and out before I really practise something with those..
Almost hit a Swirl with my flipside. I was just fooling around with my flipside when suddenly I just had the idea to try a Swirl and before I really knew what happened I had made a nice Swirl Dexterity though I didn't get my foot under the bag. Still this was a big success, I've never ever even got close to hitting a Swirl until today
It was a nice session nothing really spectacular but still cool
Footbag just rulez !

Today's session was strange
First I hit my first ever Swirl !!!! ...I was just trying to explain the add system to a few kids who are always watching me and just don't believe me that I am still a beginner and won't just win the European Championships with my skills
...After telling them about thrice what moves are difficult though not very high in add count (in my case) I just went like: Well there is one trick I'd love to execute but I've never hit it...it goes somehow like this and then Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
The kids thought I went nuts
But after that super sweet Swirl ...nothing...first I dropped the bag a hundred times trying to do an ordinary Inside Delay and then my clipper was getting worse every minute...In the end I was a bit upset but still there was the big goal I reached today : Swirl
Go Footbag !!!!

And another session for my blog
but first I just want to mention that I bough Climacool Euro's !!! I found them on Ebay, completely new, perfect size and good price (50 Euro all in all with shipping)
I can't wait to get them, I'm already now excited like hell
I'll post my oppinion as soon as I have shredded in them (after modding of course
)
Then my session...Well even if I didn't hit another Swirl (though it was always damn close) I have learned a new trick : Refraction
...After having read the trick tips post about it I just wanted to try that one because I already do a trick that is like a symple butterfly, so I tried Refraction and hit it on the first try
I also hit it BSOS
Updated my challenge from Mahhkohh, already did 5 infinites but not 10 yet...I also drilled my pixies again and my osises and did a few long runs but nothing really worth mentionning
It was a long and nice session and I can't wait to shred again (especially in my new clima's which should already be on their way to my place
)

Refraction is some kind of Buttefly Osis..There's just a new topic about it on Trick Tipsmahhkohh wrote:refraction?????whas that?
I know about the size difference so I ordered them in the right size..whereas I have 9.5 US Lavers I ordered 8 (there was no 8.5) Clima's but I'm sure they'll fit me...And I will of course post pics of themmahhkohh wrote:hey...for your climas, i realy hope they fit you, cause there is a slight size differenz between climas and lavers...but it should be only a half size. anyway, mod em good and they will be sick shred kicks!

After not having written anything for a few days here is an update on what happened during that time:
Had a nice session with the other members from the Madbags (workout)..I was a bit tired so I didn't play as much as last time..though I have hit new things too:
Dimwalk
Ducking Butterfly
Ducking Clipper>Ducking Clipper very nicely executed
and lots of good runs with Refractions and Butterflies etc...
After the workout I went home to get some sleep because on Saturday there was the meeting of the Swiss Footbag Association coming up and I wanted to be fit for that
...We were discussing many many things and now I am the official representative of the Madbags
...It was a cool meeting because after having discussed a long time we went for a shred and that was of course like always very cool
Reni, Sam, Jan, Flavio, Karim, Reto, Andi and me => Shred
After the shred we chilled a bit, played some poker and foosball (We won
) and after an interesting and all in all amazing day we went to bed (which we played for
) Really cool meeting and soon there will be a Swissjam in St.Gallen, organized by the Madbags Crew
(First weekend in August it is I think - for better info just visit footbag.ch, it should be mentionned there soon enough)...
Then there is my Climacool Problem...I got my Clima's yesterday and after having spent hours with modding them I still haven't got the stripe pull off modification and done major harm to the mesh (cut it through at one place and a hole already)...I am going to get silikone caulking today and then I will decide what to do with the inside...I'm afraid of doing any more stripe-pull off stuff but on the other hand I want this mod...One shoe has already suffered from my legerdemain so what to do now ??? We'll see and at least I have already done the toe box and the broka cut (the lacing methods didn't work for me so I just laced them normally which provides better foothold anyway...
so that's it I will update my blog with pics from my climas soon, any tips (with pics) are of course highly appreciated

So just like I promised here are my Climacools and what I have done with them until now...Feel free to post your opinion on what I have done well or what I have wasted...Please tell me if you would put some more silicone caulking on the inside of the shoe to make the bowl bigger, I'm still not sure whether I should or shouldn't do it ....

Good job with the silicone insides, how are you coming along with the stripes????
Where did you order your climas from????
Anyway, good luck on getting the strip mod and not tearing to big a hole in the mesh.

the inside looks superduper shred worth....i bet you could use em witht he stripes anyway
but we´ll get em removed!

add more silicone. and remember to cut the strips at the VERY top and VERY bottom for the thinnest cutting area. and cut the threads that are holding the foremost stripe on. you can do it. The inside mod rules! also, cut the top layer off of the toe. Be careful.
Nice shoes, cool color!

Thx a lot for the tips and comments...I thought of adding a bit more silicone especially after having shredded in my new climas yesterday...It went quite well but I realized that I still have to do some things to make real footbag shoes out of 'em
@ Marco: I think I will be online tomorrow too so we can get to that mod together

can't help with the poll because I am no clima shredder.
Great tutorial- what do you think about posting it in the footbag weblog on the pffc site?
Climas are shoes which are available in Germany and so such a tutorial in German on a german website would be great.
that was the reason why I am asking - great job
