i started "real" freestyle about 2 years ago, but i started to kick in circles 13 years ago, and im 24 now

I started kicking last school year (Septemberish of 2005) and started freestyle 9 months ago. Didn't get totally addicted till a month and a half ago though

i started shredding in november. so... 1.2.3.4.... uh... alittle over 4 months for shred

for hack, about 6 years. maybe a little more, i cant really remember, just that i was playing in middle school. h

I started circle hack in gr.6 or 7, so I would have been 11 or 12. I just started freestyle under 2 weeks ago. By the way, I'm 14 now.

ive been kicking around a hacky sack gosh... since i was at most ten or so... got a little more half-seriously into kicking around freshman and sophomore year..

then footbag came for me last december... i got lavers i believe on the 21st or so... as the shift to college life took hold... im just hitting my... three and a half months? 19 years old here, wishing id been playing for a good 5 years earlier or so but hey, ill try to appreciate getting into it THIS early

its been such a quest though... it seems like its been soooo much longer just because of all the time ive devoted to stitching and practicing in the last few months of my life! im looking forward to a year or so from now

A group of kids gathered to watch at our shred session today. One asked me "how long have you been hackysacking for?"

15 years.

"Wow he's been hackysacking longer than I've been alive!"

This is true. I got my first Sipa Sipa when I was nine. By highschool I could hit jester b2b, pendulum and toe stall, and was widely regarded as a hackysack god. I had NO idea shred existed. I kicked in college a little. I kicked after college a little. Rewind to about 11 months ago. Bored at work. I googled "hackysack videos". I was blown away. I kept kicking with a crappy crocheted bag and vans. I could hit inside stall and toe stall, all in one run. I got a sandmaster, I started hitting clipper. Then one November day in San Marcos, TX, I saw an adidas store and figured "What the hell I'll try out lavers". I consider that day my start of freestyle. My life changed. I've been a footbag addict ever since.

4 1/2 months

What a wild ride it's been.
