Judging footbag golf

Are there any weird rules to footbag golf that one should know when running a footbag golf competition? for instance: "can someone drive the bag happy gilmore style by running up to where the bag last dropped and doing one of his running hits?" "what is the usual par for a hole? 3? 4? 15?"

any other questions that people come up with can be added to help out my understanding of judging.

have you watched in the footbag.org faqs? i saw a whole bunch of wierd rules, like noone smokes too not distract hte other players...

for the par thing, i think it should be like the ussual golf style. depending on the lenght of the course... so like, a course of 700 feet should have a higher par count than one for 3 feet! and the happy gilmore style is completly legal too me!

You might need to be an ifpa member to download that (I'm not sure) but it definitely has a section on golf. I presume those are the correct rules.

As ppl have already pointed out there are extensive rules online. I don't think it talks about pars though. It depends on where you play really, although I think there is a total number that you should aim to make the course - thats probably in the rules. In those rules it specifies how you need to drive - from memory, one foot remains planted and you may not step forward onto the kicking foot after the kick, you must plant it behind the support leg.
