Jamie it's ok - in May we can celebrate the same thing - 01:02:03 04/05/06 -
I think our way of writing dates makes more sense because it goes: day/month/year - so each number is spefically bigger. That way when you see a date for a month - ie a cc exp date - it's just the same thing with the day cut off - month/year. Month/day/year - why would you put the day in the middle? Because it's easier to say? Weird.

wait, canadians do month/day/year? I don't think so. I never have. Have people been misinterpretting my dating format on my cheques all these years? wtf? I've always written it day/month/year. The alternative seems sort of stupid...
