"Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston,” believed Pro-Life’s first monument to the ‘act of giving birth,’ is purportedly an idealized depiction of Britney in delivery. Natural aspects of Spears’ pregnancy, like lactiferous breasts and protruding naval, compliment a posterior view that depicts widened hips for birthing and reveals the crowning of baby Sean’s head."

8O Besides this statue being somewhat humorous, I think it’s also ridiculous and totally unnecessary. It seems just like a giant cry for attention and trying to cash in on the popularity of a celebrity.

Thoughts?

Birthing is so gross. When my wife gives birth I'm gonna be so fucking far away. I'll hold it once they hose all the blood and placenta off but fuck that shit.

Yeah right, Dan. It's a miracle what happens when it is your own kid or possibly a close friend or family member's kid. I have an almost five month old baby, and I didn't really want to hold her when she just came out (I wanted her cleaned off first), but my midwife put her on my stomach as soon as she came out, and it was great. You won't care.

I think it's cool - very confronting. I like it. I don't understand how it supports pro life.

I get the feeling its not pro-life in the normal sense of the term but rather as stated "a monumnet ot the act of giving birth".

“Britney provides inspiration for those struggling with the ‘right choice’,”
.. then again maybe not.

Obviously very pro-life. You can tell by how it idealized the whole thing looks, when in actuality, birthing is disgusting and horrid.

WTF is the wolve's head supposed to represent?

Ironic - pro life but happy to hunt bears for their skins. Not that I'm into animal rights but I can defintely appreciate the irony.

I guess I understand the pro life part now - Britney is a "role model" for young people so hopefully they'll follow her example and have a baby instead of an abortion. I guess it's a very low view of the intelligence of young people. I would hope that most people would make their own decision on abortions without being influenced by the decisions of alcoholic pop stars.
