What do you get asked most while shredding...

What do you guys get asked most while you're shredding,

...For me, I think it's "Do you also play soccer?"

or, "How long have you been doing that?"

"Is that all you ever do?"

"Do you really think you could do that, if you didnt have those cheater shoes?"

"You paid how much for a hackeysack!?"

ya. i got that from a dude who owned all the starwars movies and every collection item ever. not bashing it but it's like, my hobby is better than yours. fuck you! it's a sport! even by paying 30$ for a footbag, it's cheaper than any other sports!

i hate stupid/ignorant ppl making comments on the sport. lamest one i heard was from some girls who said something like "aha. they're still playing hackysack in college. that's for kids!"

i wanted to punch her.

 Lol that's awesome.

I get a lot of "Holy $%^ look at this guy!" at uni, and in town normally from old people I get stuff like "got some pretty quick legs there son!" or some equally cheesy comment.

I must say I very seldom get negative feedback about footbag, especially now I am a lot better. When I started out there were always the comments about my white legs or whatever, but these days people seem to realise that it's a serious sport when they see me playing :).

The best ever was a comment I got after doing a routine at church, this guy goes 'Oh dude, I knew u were good but not that good!?!?!' haha awesome.

2nd was probably 'those shorts make your butt look good', but that was from my gf so it doesn't really count

haha, old people are the best. Usually people say something nice or don't say anything to me...
"Do you really think you could do that, if you didnt have those cheater shoes?"
My friend Dave's response to this was, "Tell you what, I'll let you wear my lavers and if you can do ANY of these tricks you'll have proved that it's the shoes." The guy backed down of course.

Oh, and just today I got another frequently occurring one, from an old lady, "I didn't see the bag it first.. and it looked like you were just dancing."

i too have gotten the "i didnt see the ball at first so i thought u were dancing" just as often as "do u play soccer as well?"

i think its because the majority of the people who see me play are the drunk ones rolling in every night to my dorm, and they are dumb as rocks, guys... dumb as rocks...

other than that the "how long does it take you to be able to do that" is a popular one too. almost 4 months ;)

"how long have you been doing this?"

and the classics:
"what's the biggest trick to ever be hit?"
"They have hackysack tournaments?!"

Looks like you're dancing. (usually riverdance)
How do you do that?
Do you play soccer?
Are you awesome at DDR?
freestyler4life wrote:"Do you really think you could do that, if you didnt have those cheater shoes?"
When people say it's my shoes I just take them off, throw them on the ground and toss the back at them and say "Yeah, look at them go."

I don't really get that one anymore though.
