Lots of footbag on the weekend,
Saturday:
played about 6hours on saturday with Alex and Cameron. We started playing at fed square and had a great session there, then came back to my house for a swim and more shred action, Alex hit sole stall wrap barefoot 8O and I came closeish to a 5 dex barefoot. Cameron has been drilling hard and after only about 3 days of playing hit stepover and clipper :D . Later, poker night at Pats house, played lots of poker and played a bit of footbag in his living room whilst tipsy, funny stuff, rofl.

Sunday:
Pat says he is getting lavers :D, Good to see Cameron getting into it, hopefully his brother Brendan will come back again.
Played a bit a fed square before going to southbank to do some busking, Alex and Scott were playing great, not much money at southbank, crappy place to busk at. Later we were told to leave southbank as we didn't have a busking permit  . Busked for a bit outside flinders street, before heading home after a good weekends footbaging.

First post here in ages, yeah totally avoiding doing my uni work again :?

Taking it easy because of repeated leg and hip cramps, anyone know what to do with cramps on the inside of the leg?

Played with a hacky circle at uni and got some epic hacks :D showed some people how to toe stall and do pincher, good to play in a circle again, I really missed it.

Played with Alex at his place on friday he was playing awsome, hiting surging set heaps, I hit neo set and got a few cartwheel sets, now I'm trying to find someone to teach me how to do front and backflips :D

Joined a juggling club, the people there are crazy 8O great fun considering you can juggle and can incorperate it with footbag :o :D

Nice on the neo set man. Also nicely done on the procrastination, you work at it hard enough and you could even drop out of uni like me :D

Cramps? I imagine warming up and down and stretching both prior to and after playing would help a lot in this regard.

I'm not at uni, I left like last year. Yeah I'll be down sometime soon... but my hours at work just dried up although I'm looking for more work.

Check this link out for the cramps:

w00t w00t w00t!!!!! :D :D :D :D !!!! :!: :!: :!:
I finally have shoes :D
And they have good surfaces 8O

they are Golden Breed skate shoes, they are light with good surfaces and they actually fit on my feet! :o

Thats about all, still taking it easy and staying away from playing till my legs feel better.

Funnyiest thing happened today, I was cleaning my stuff out and found a pair of new balance 620's that I bought a year and a half or so ago in one of those 2 pairs for 1 shoe sale things. The 620 rip the golden breed shoes, so I'll be using them from now on. I bought them way before I played footabg and just totally forgot, LOL

Yay for decent shred shoes :D :D :D

First proper session back from injury, spent about 1hour just on spinning mirage and spinning pixie. Really annyoning session, just couldn't hit spinning pixie, only managed spinning toe :( tried spinning mirage about 200 times, had trouble with the set, footed it heaps but didn't seal it.
Anyway good to be back from injury :D

That's cool you're back Janis. what do you mean by spinning pixie?

I spent over an hour trying to film my sick 1 and although I was footing it the whole time I just *couldn't* land it. I have never been so furious from footbag, I feel your pain.

Busked with Alex and James on Sunday. That went well as far as my game was concerned, sandals are the ownage. Alex was playing awsome as usual, he even tried a pinch move. :o

I hit toe torque, yay! :D

Before I meant pixie spinning toe and toe backspinning mirage. That was a really annoying session. I know exactly how it feels Jamie, you'll hit it eventually, but it certainly doesn't feel like it at the time. Speaking of sick 1, what trick are you trying Jamie?

Oh cool, pixie spinning toe :D

It's worse than feeling like I won't hit it, it's feeling like i'll hit it the whole time and not hitting it. (at one point I missed the catch twice in a row ><)

I'm trying for Atomic Gyro Drifter. I guess i'll just have to enter it in next month's comp. bleh.

2 sessions today.
First was with Dan at uni, he was getting good runs going with lots of pdx torques, some random guy came along and started playing for the first time.

Second session was with Jamie and Dan, best session in ages, everyone was playing good. Dan had massive runs with lots of big tricks, best I've ever seen him play like 20 contact run with 9 five adds 8O , Jamie was busting out the drifters and pdx drifters like crazy 8O . I hit toe drifter after a few tries :D and pixie eclipse  woot!

Jamie played a bit at my place, though we didn't play much. Just screwing around with kneebumping atomic. Anyway great day today :D

I think dimwalk rake is my first 5 :D

Yeah I'll get lavers as soon as I can find a pair that fits :? the only thing about thongs that is pissing me off is the lack of heel stallability, and the fact that I'll probably break my feet playing in them

Yeah I really sucked bad at nats  :D
