Thats sad, I didn't even know about it cause I came to the board just recently.

If there was a tournament organized, I would definately try to attend.

I met him at the Worlds '00 in Vancouver and competed with him in the intermediate. To me he seemed a little reserved, but I thought that it was pretty normal, since he was so much younger than the rest of us. His dad seemed really supportive. I mean he took him to the Worlds and everything. That's quite a lot for 12 year old. Sad.

Ahhh... I read it a long time ago but if I remember correctly I believe that sadly his body was found in a river near his house. I don't believe any sort of foul play was involved.
