"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

Amateurs practice until they can get it right.
Professionals practice until they can't get it wrong.
No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

There was a girl I liked back in the day and I asked her to come out and play with me. Two minutes into it she asked, "Is this fun for you?"

Haha, I say glue and magnets. When I drop, I blame it on the fact that my glue wore off. It's definitely my favorite footbag joke right now (besides ass stall).Jeremy wrote:yeah me too. I think a very common question is: "How do you do that?"
I usually say it's on a string or that it's all done with smoke and mirrorsLame but slightly humourous.

A really wierd one I got was from this guy downtown. He's like "My son's got one of those things... bothers the F**K out of me!!!!!!"
...after the a dirty look that he gave, I changed shred spots.
@ Zeke
I had a similar thing happen when I asked a girl I liked to come shred with me when I was at school. she was really blunt with me... she's like "No. You look like a fool." just straight up. ...she's not cool at all
Other then these two comments though, I do get alot of possitive stuff. Everyone at school knows me as The Footbag Kid. (used to be the Hacky Sack kid, but I managed to straighten most of them out)

GREAT Counter-Response. I have gotten that before twice but I never had any good come-back. It was probably the most annoying thing I've ever heard.FunkLovesFootbag wrote:haha, old people are the best. Usually people say something nice or don't say anything to me...
My friend Dave's response to this was, "Tell you what, I'll let you wear my lavers and if you can do ANY of these tricks you'll have proved that it's the shoes." The guy backed down of course."Do you really think you could do that, if you didnt have those cheater shoes?"
Oh, and just today I got another frequently occurring one, from an old lady, "I didn't see the bag it first.. and it looked like you were just dancing."
