Anyone using iRiver H10 20GB?

Post by Sergey »

Got it a couple months ago from e-bay and there's a few issues with it that I can't seem to fix, so I was wondering if anyone else on the board has this device.

Yea, I've been on http://www.misticriver.net/, people on that board have exactly the same problems as I do and there's no way to fix it. The only thing that would help is a new FirmWare which I'm not sure when is gonna be out. iRiver on-line support sucks ass, I don't even wanna talk to them anymore.

brycimus, have you even gotten a message error while trying to copy files from the H10 onto you computer? It says there's not enough space even tho there's like 25GB free.

Yea, getting another device would be an option, but I don't have that opportunity since I got these http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er4.aspx babies with my new player.

why wouldn't it be an option? did you get the headphones with the h20 at the same time?

hmmm, i've really never had problems with mine, but have you tried formatting it and then reinstalling the firmware? also, if that doesn't work just try putting your h20 into UMS mode (with the UMS trick, hit reset ontop and then hold down the 'o' button while turning it on) and put the files in that way (you're gonna have to make it so that hidden files are shown on your computer) then use Nyaochi's EasyH10 program - it can be found by googling "sourceforge easyh10"

goodluck
