You should have pegged him in the back Jess :x

I just had a 1 hour 'solo' session with Toby, I was feeling REALLY weak and hit crap all, but I learned a lot about osis and Toby learned they he can't link guiltless tricks :D.

Solo Session 15: 1 hour (Total since 24/01/06: 35.5 hours)
Drilled: Osis > infinity > ducking clip rpt
Notes: Me and Toby both did this drill for like an hour, him using it to link guiltless and me to try learn osis properly. We both got something out of it but it didn't get much out of us, we hit a pathetic number of contacts each.
During warmup I hit a string with fairy whirl and pdx whirl in it, but it was lame. I also hit a new 5add:
Atomic whirl (i'm fairly sure this gets x-dex)

I also shreded last tuesday at uni with the DFC (only 6 shreders turned up). I worked on gyro towards the end, but I can't remember anything else I hit apart from 2 new moves... it was a pretty crap shred.
New moves on tuesday:
Gyro illusion.
Fairy spinning butterfly

For the last month or so I have hit a new 5 every session I think, lol :D

I had a solo shred last night for an hour and a half, which was stupid because it ment I coulden't get up today on time to study before I go and shred again!

Solo Session 16: 1.5 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 37 hours)
Drilled: Blenders, osis, stepping ducking.
Notes: I started the night hitting fairy ducking clip > ducking osis > blender, which just made me wana shred way more.
To get warmed up I hit ducking osis > ducking clip rpt and ducking osis > osis rpt. Also went over my osis > butterfly > ducking clip drill a few times.
I hit eggplant > fairy ss blender and blizzard > fairy ss blender but nothing out of fairy ss blender but a hand catch :(.
I hit blender > blurry whirl but missed the hand catch, also hit pdx torque twice within 3 tries which felt good, learning osis properly has helped to no end, I also hit pdx blender first try and it felt really osisy :).
My flip blenders are feeling much stronger, I could hit them quite a big % of tries. I hit blender bsos again. I figured out I can spin out of my goodside blender so I hit blender > spinning clip and blender > spinning pdx mirage.
To finish the night I played with stepping ducking, footed flipside spikehammer but didn't hit it :(, I hit it on good side pretty quickly and then hit ripped warrior on both sides.
New moves: 2 new 5adds...
Fairy blender
fairy spinning pdx mirage :)

Wow great session Nic! Pdx Torque, spins from blender and stepping ducking i am very jealous of! heheheh
One thing though, You cant get Paradox add from a toe set trick? So Fairy spinning mirage would be a 4?

Omg I just threw up all over my keyboard. Lol not really, but that is pretty discusting Jesse!

Ian, not that adds matter, I think fairy spinning mirage should get pdx because of the reason most spinning moves get pdx, not because you set them from clipper but because you change momentum after the spin.

So i'm gonna call it a 5add :).

Kicked with toby today. Was crap because I missed the bus and had to walk for an hour to get into town and Toby had to wait. Two young girls came and tried to play hack with us for a while, I was pretty mean to them lol, I felt kinda bad about that, but I was having a crap shred and they were not making it better lol.
No new moves, I hit something like 10 contacts of ducking clipper > whirl rpt so whirls are on the up.
I think the main reason the shred sucked is because I was working on osis and butterfly in public and we were using a brand new bag Toby wanted to test so it was rolly as hell and I had to get used to it :(.

Yo nic are you really changing momentum for your fairy spinning mirage. YOur fairy set would push you into the spin as it is out to in dex. or are you spinning the opposite way.

Good to see you still read the forum dude :)

What I ment about changing momentum is that after the fairy spin, I have to change momentum to hit the pdx mirage out of it, hence the pdx, you spin one way, and then stop and do a mirage the other way.

So for the Fairy Spinning Mirage you are dexing with the same foot as you set with? I would normally envision it to be dexing with the opposite foot to the set foot, so there is no momentum change. But then you could call what i am picturing, Fairy 'Gyro' Mirage, not spinning as such.

Lol nonono, i'm not talking about fairy gyro mirage Ian, I hit that aaaaages ago, it's easy as. I hit fairy spinning pdx mirage... both dexs are done with the same leg, you end on the oposite toe to which you start :)

Yay for my 1900th post lol.

I have been editing most of today, the draft copy of my video is up to about 10 mins and it's taken me about 12 hours to get this far today.
I'll attack it again tomorrow.

I think it's about 1/3 done.
