It's been almost a week since I separated my collar bone. I think it's healing up ok so far. Thankfully there's no real pain. This morning I tried raising my elbow a bit just to see what range of motion Ive got. I still cant lift my arm straight up.

I'm visiting my neices right now. It was nice to see them greet us at the door with thier pudgy smiling faces. They're both running around now but not speaking much. Hopefully the injury will give me enough reason to visit them more often, seeing as how my playing time has been cut drastically. They're still not completely used to me, often they just kind of walk up to me and stare at me as if they're trying to figure out just who the heck I am.

Spent the early part of yesterday bored out of my freaking mind. Left the house to go to the bank and got some lunch at Potbellys, always great sammiches. Hung out with Tom for most of the evening at my place and played a little Virtua Fighter which was fun cuz neither of really play it and we were pretty much just button mashing the whole time. Got some food at Villa Palermo, always great everything. Got back from Villa and had a long pleasant conversation with my landlord, what a cool guy!

Today I went downtown to get the batteries replaced in my Fossil watch. They took so long to fix it that they didn't charge me. I took the train into the Loop and hooked up with Greg for a short hack session then picked up a couple sammiches from Fontanos for me and Reile. Gonna do groceries later on tonight.

Fucking allergies. Didn't sleep well last night, even after taking Tylenol 3.

Helped my landlord bring up a new sink and remove and throw out the old one. He commented on being so surprised to see how clean the apartment was kept seeing as it was 2 guys living here

I still try to play squares as much as possible. The sling pretty much keeps me grounded, no flashy jump kicks or Ong-Bak-like flying knees that I love to do. I'm probably not as fun to watch but I am definately more effective. Take out all the flash and I'm forced to just make good solid shots. I've been winning more games with the sling on then the month before I had it.

Another miserable night. I really don't look forward to sleeping now. Partly due to the allergies but mostly because of the arm. It's hard to get (and stay) comfortable. I can't wait to get out and play today.

Slept a little better last nigth. The shoulder was a little sore though. Still a little sore now. Had 2 emergency root canals scheduled in a row. Needless to say I'll be getting out late tonight. Ugh.

So the weather is finaly warm around here and I fuck my arm up. It's really annoyng cuz I would much rather spend my free time riding around on my mountain bike than sitting around doing nothing at home. This sling is really pissing me off, keeps rubbing up against my neck. I hate having to sleep somewhat upright. Allergies aren't helping. FUCK.

That is some crazy clavicle action. I'm suprised all you need is a sling to let that heal... From the X-ray it looks like you completely tore the AC joint. When you tore that, did it look like the outside portion (lateral) of the clavicle was pointing up like it does on the X-ray ? Usually complete ligament tears need repairs surgically...looks like I'm wrong ! Hope that heals up alright Zeke ! I read ya on the allergies thing, all this blooming and living of nature is killin me too.

Oh well, let's all just grab some tissues and blow our nose.
