Possible 10 Add Move :)

Post by jon »

As I was falling asleep last night I envisioned a hittable 10 add move. Each component of this move has been hit on its own and it is not impossible like a lot of other insane yet to be hit tricks.

Alpine Surging PS Torquescrew

Alpine Surging has been done.
Spinning ducking PS Torque has been done
I believe PS Torquescrew has been hit
edit: Not counting the duck this move only has 2 *downtime* dexs unlike a lot of other really high add moves.
This move also has the nice feature that except for the screw on the torque its very easy to tell if it is hit cleanly or not.

I believe that some day Alpine Surging PS Torquescrew will be hit and the more I think about it... the more I believe it might be the first 10 add move hit.

Thoughts?

How about Merkon with a really high set to allow seven extra spins?

SET > SPIN x 8 [BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD] > OP OUT [DEX] > TOE [DEL]

Or Octople-spinning clipper? Will also require a really high set.

SET > SPIN x 8 [BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD][BOD] > CLIP [XBD][DEL]

Ya :p my mistake

Do you think those dexs need to look the? I have seen very clean surging ducking. The video of felix hitting cheese processor looked very nice.

I have also seen VERY clean torquescrews but don't think I have seen a PS torquescrew on video.

What I liked about this move is that it could be hit very clean unlike so many moves that end in double downs that get debated over and over again.

Agreed :D

I think the thing about this move is not the fact that it's a ps torquescrew (which is very absurd and I can imagine very hard to clean on its own), but that it's a ps torquescrew after a duck... I'm not sure how high people normally set for their ps torquescrews, but if the duck adds to the height, it will be that much harder to clean the symple dyno dex. Cool sounding move at any rate.

I don't understand this. Do people completely ignore the actual trajectory of the bag when they come up with these moves? Spinning montage rake is a double spinning ducking symposium whirl... RAKE. After a double spin you have a lot of momentum. That coupled with the need to whip your neck (and still get a clean duck) and then have the balance to execute a clean symposium whirling rake off of a faster than normal set... Well, I guess that's why it's a 10-add trick.

Spinning Ducking Paradox Mofly is 10 with xdex

I recall Ricky hitting the non-ducking version on the Sunday night of CSS5.

Was it clean? Because if it was that would make him the 2nd person in the world to hit a 9add? 8O

Actually I've heard from fairly accurate sorces that Jubal Hume hit blurry voodoo osis - whatever you call that move. Years ago too (since he doesn't play much anymore). I think there may be the odd other player that have hit 9 add moves but it's probably not my place to say. I don't give mofly an x dex but if you do blurry mofly is 9 too. I'd be very skeptical about the cleanliness of any move ending with ducking mofly.
