I was wondering if theres any other major problem with the g6s other than that they don't make them anymore. Like if there's any downside to playing in them.

I believe they're bulkier than lavers, maybe a bit heavier?

there just a bit heavyer then lavers and if you ever have to switch to lavers again you'll have to reschool your clippers

Nah, i didn't find any trouble transisioning back and forth. its a pretty smoth switch. g6s are bouncier, and feel a tiny bit bigger but, i noticed absolutley no difference in my quickness when i switched. i was playing in G6s for over a month, then i swithced back to laver's and had no problem going back to lavers. i actually prefer the laver insides to the G6s. but i kinda like the toe of the G6s better

The insides to the Lavers and G-units are very similar, with the exception of the G6s having a smoother groove in comparison. The transition shouldn't be problematic. The only slight difference that I found noticeable is the width of the shoe, in which replaceable insoles may need modding if you plan to use, say Spencos insoles, on your G-units.

Also, if you're comfortable with a Brocka mod on your Lavers, the structure on G-units is fairly different as well. With that said, the arch support on the G-units is flexible enough to do little if no mods whatsoever. Really the arch support is a bit lower than the Lavers so there's not much obstruction for ankle crank.

Having to reschool your clippers if you transition from units back to Lavers is DEFINITELY a problem. Don't underestimate this.

I always use my lavers for shred. I wear the g-units to school and to friends houses, you know, for showing off to the non-believers. Thanks for the input. Just wondering.

A couple of friends of mine that have used and use goonits both have had problems with the toe mesh ripping/tearing. One of them was able to fix it by sewing it back together, my other friend trashed his because the toe was'nt able to be fixed at all with any thing. I don't use goonit's so I don't know how they feel or what not.
