im getting so FREAKING CLOSE to these tricks:
whirl
paradon
Atomic Butterfly
i just need to school them, after realizing i could almost hit these moves i was WAY siked again to footbag more intensly. But thats about all that has happened as of late.
i landed new tricks also in my last sesh: Pdx Mirage, outside kick spinning clipper

im just here to report nothing new, other than i landed rake for the first time (i never really tried it before) but other than that ive just spent most of my footbag time drilling, hoping to extend my tiltless capabilities. Ive mostly been working on form, and setting so that i can do mah tricks as flawlessly as possible. ive footed whirl about 100 times now, but ive still yet to land it, im also starting to understand the concept of peaktime lol
well thats all ive got for now

For paradon/barrage/down double-down goodness, the water bottle drill works wonders.
Good luck. I'm getting close to nailing both paradon and barraging sets.

wow its been a while scince i have updated this thing and its probably going to take me a while to add onto it... so here goes....
lately my shred has been insanely better...
now that i got that out of my system the fin begins
I just RECENTLY got back from my first ever footbag jam and it was amazingly fun to kinda breifly sum it up heres how it went:
Friday:
me and kyle hewitt arrived in Oakland and were picked up by Dat and Nate, and we also had a small session outside the AirBart station, it was fun, then we left and went to the airport to pick up Ken Somolinos (all these people were really nice, insightfull, and helpful to me and kyle throught the whole trip). After we picked up ken we decided to go to an in-and-out burger (one of The best burgers ive ever had it was AWESOME) and got some food, from there we went to Google and i got to meet steve goldberg one of the funniest guys i know now, and also a 4-square god man. after we were all settled from food and what not we headed out to Santa Cruz (to emily's house) she wasn't there initially but we had a session near a church while we waited for her, it was there that i met Fletcher Funk and Gray Chadwick, those two guys are pretty awesome as well. Then Emily showed up and i met her as well. After hanging out for a while we took off for Jeremy mirkens house. We unloaded our luggage there and went to the beach were we footbagged for about 2 or 3 hours (so the day wasnt over yet and i had already had 4 sessions). Then after an awesome afternoon of shredding at the beach we went to downtown Santa Cruz (were me kyle and Dat were lost for what seemed like an hour or 2) and ate food at 99 bottles (the food there was the best food i had on the whole entire trip) After dinner was overwith a couple of us went outside and into an alley way to hack around a bit. After we had the 'hack' out of our system we went back upstair of the restaurant and payed for our food, and headed out to the venue of the comp. for a late night shred that lasted till about 12:00 am (it was definately a full day)
Saturday:(competition day):
in the morning About 10:00 am or so me and kyle hopped into jeremy's car and went with him to the venue (as did many others) and we sessioned all day up until the competitions started, then i filmed more than i shredded.. it was there at that competition that i place 3rd in the intermidiate shred 30 (im so happy i placed in my first competition ever)
after i got to watch all the people in open rip it up and take names in the open category.
After the comps were over we sessions until about 10 pm then we headed out for food at a mexican resaurant that had excellent food, and also one of the biggest burritos ive ever seen!
After words we headed back to jeremy's were we chillaxed and played scrabble, chess, and computer puzzle games until we all passe out.
Sunday (Casual shred and 4-square comp.):
I first awoke to the sound of people laughing...i think nick was putting nasty sock up to my nose or something, and then Lon covered me up with a sleeping bag. lol anyway.....we headed back to the venue once again at about 10/11 am for another long day of footbagging. It seemed like we had been there forever and i was uber hungry so we all pitched in for pizza and it was extremely good. Then afterward the 4-square competition started, i was eliminated in the first round, but thats okay it was fun anyway, congratulations to steve golberg and sonny genz for winning that event.
after that was over.....you guessed it....more shred....until about 10 pm... then we headed back to jeremy's house were nick landes was showing us all these awesome puzzle games online, there was one puzzle that me nd daryl coudnt figure out to save our lives.
After a while of that Lon had the bright idea of going and getting some Thai food, so we left and had thai food.....except lon changed his mind so he didnt have any....Later that night after we had finally gotten back to Jeremy's i packed my bags and said goodbye to the 20 people or so that was staying at jeremy's house.
Me,ken, kyle, and Dat went back to Dats house and chilled there because its closer to the airports that Ken, and us needed to be on to get back home. And that was the end of sunday....
Monday (the ride home):
Later Monday morning Ken, me, kyle, Dat, and dats sister went over to a park next to Dats house and we played frisbee, and had an awesome 4-square competition. After we were finished playing games we took Ken to his airport, and wished him goodluck on getting home, and said goodbye and what not.( Ken is one of the coolest footbaggers i have ever had the opportunity of meeting..and oh yeah kyle says your fat).
From here we once again went to in-and out burger were i had another awesome meal. Then we crused the mall were we found these aweomse lightsabes that actually worked...it was cool when kyle and that random black guy were sword fighting...ill never forget that.
After we were done goofing off Dat aked us if we had ever had These one drinks( i dont remember what country it was from) but i do remember the name it was honeydew milk with tapioca balls, which was really amazingly good.
From there Dat took us to our airport from which we said our goodbyes, and thanks and stuff. (one of the coolest things about that airport was the EXTREMELY HOT CHICKS was had seen)
After our flight landed in Salt Lake city, Me and kyle headed back to the Potato-nator state (which took 5 hours of driving) and we didnt get home until 2 am the next day.
Overall:
This trip (being my first) was really exciting and fun, i met so many people that i would now consider my friends, there are so many people i hung out with that i will never forget. It think that this event has boosted my confidence in myself about my footbag abilities and now i think i want to take them to the next level because i improved so much while i was there, and everyone there was so insanely helpful and supportive.
with that im taking a step up in me training regimin and now it looks like this.....

Oh man! today me and kyle hada freaking awesome session (again) we seem to have alot of these lately, and im lovin' it.
ok here it starts, for the first time today i landed Dimwalk>Infinity>Clipper mirage> parkwalk
lol the first time i ever land park walk, and i randomly decided to try it in a string and i landed it, i was extremely stoked.
another thing i did today was beat my infinity record, in fact, i doubled my infinity record. (6 or 7) im not sure is my new record
other than that i was watching kyle trying to land eggbeater, and he's soooo freaking close! i was trying other things also, because i figured if i could randomly throw parkwalk into a string maybe i could land new things, but to no avail that was it, but it was a definate improvement on my game, IM LOVING IT!
