But the thing is it's...Leah...not Laya or however you wanna spell it, close enough, haha. Anyways, good day - two work out sessions - and today I worked some more on editing the vid. So far I've finished about 45 seconds and I gotta say, it is growing perfectly ! If I keep up this pace , it should be out Sunday.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure the Star Wars character's name is spelled Leah as well. Maybe I'm wrong? I dunno. :?

I changed the name of the thread because Bob and I have pretty much called it quits. I wrote a long thing with thoughts and feelings, but who wants to read that? So goodbye friends and modifieders. We had a lot of fun. PEACE!

You can still expect us in Chicago because that place is great.

Well, what I was getting at was how you say her name...it's like Lee -yuh - not lay -yuh . Aaaanyways...I was a bit confused when I couldn't find WV Crew thread to check on...Don't leave me all alone T_T . You 2 need to find a really nice place to shred to where people pass by at college, I know you could find a shred buddy eventually if you stayed consistant! Oh well, we'll kick next time we meet up.

I kinda wish I could read it, Brad. But anyways, I know how you and Bob feel; I feel kinda the same way sometimes. I think most peeps have a run of a few years then start focusing on other stuff.

So I played outside for the first time a couple days ago. Used my new Nano for the first time at City Park. I went over right next to the Bball courts and outlasted them all once night fell. It's always so nice bein able to push through fatigue cause you've got some jams no one else hears. I noticed while I was playing I was always hesitant to hit flip stuff because it's all less consistant and when I play by myself in places like that I wanna make sure if someone looks over, I'm still bustin a long string. Of course if you know me, I'm not known for long strings... I did however get some good 15 - 20 + runs in.

So currently I'm quite down and a bit upset. I now have a puppy in my room, but I found out that I can't keep it. The worst part is that I already spent around $250 of supplies and things preparing for the dog because the guy who owns the house said I could get one... Well, I guess when he said I could if I got fencing, what he really meant was, I doubt he is gonna follow through so I'm just going to say this to have his hopes a bit higher than usual. So I picked out this lil guy from a litter of 6 at a farm...it took me like 1.5 hours to decide cause they were all so cute. I get him home after I get a gate for him to keep him in the washer room, take him straight upstairs to wash him. Me being nice and a dog lover, I just hop right in the tub with him so he's not so scared. My landlord walks in and just looks at him like it's motha fuckin satan and I'm bathing with him...he doesn't say anything. So like 3 hours later while I'm chilling with the dog in the washer room, he tells me I can't keep him here and he has to find another home. Short and sweet summary = that is fucked up.

So, I'm going to enjoy my weekend with my puppy (Alfa) since the cat that lives here is omega and take him back Sunday. Oh yeah...Omega is fricken furious when he sees the puppy...he gets so tensed up and arches his back like his nemesis just walked into his house. Puppy just kinda pants and sometimes growls back a little.

Tip of the day - Anything you really want, won't come to you easily. Work through the hard times.

Hmmm...where to start. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, but a bit chilly. For the most part, just about right. I went over to City Park and played some while Leah read a book and Alfa layed around. My legs felt pretty fresh and I was totally feeling the spring weather. Just about everything felt pretty good, how could it not with the weather ???

Later that day I tried to figure out where the hell I would take the dog since I wasn't supposed to keep him. I finally talked to one of my friends which was so very odd and random. I haven't talked to this kid for like, over a month or so, but we used to be great friends and close. I was driving down the road and randomly brought up his name and wondered what he was in to. I then said "I hope everything is going alright for him cause I really wanna be around when he has his kid." less than 5 seconds later we both look over and I see him walking down the street. Craaaaazy, so I talk to him and talk him into keeping the dog for a while, maybe permanantly.

I hear that theres a new rail over at another park so I go over there to watch my friends skate it, huuuuge rail. I freestyle a lil while everyone shreds the rail. Legs felt great.

As for today...what a CRAPPY way to wake up. My comp wasn't on for some reason and all of a sudden I hear it 'click on'. It was soon followed by a sparking noise, and then some sort of sizzling noise followed then by smoke. It wasn't from the tower, but it won't start anymore. So say goodbye to the last video i was working on and all my other shit I had on there...damn it... things aren't working out too well right now. Lady problems, dog problems, computer problems, car problems. But atleast the sun is out.

Tip of the Day : Style and form is everything. Style and form is a feel. If it doesn't feel right, change it.

Sorry to hear you can't keep Alfa... that's a total bummer. It sounds like you really liked him a lot, too. And Brad and Bob are quitting? Dang, I didn't know they had been contemplating that at all. Seems like I know nothing that's going on with you... been a couple months since I checked your blog.

I hope everything works out. It seems like you have the right focus and outlook, so I know you'll be able to keep yourself happy no matter what comes your way.

Did some lower body strength training yesterday after I ate outside...gorgeous weather. After work I did some upper body strengthening followed by some serious shred. I tried out some new orthotics for my flat feet (pes planus) while shredding, it took a good while and some brute scissor force to cut through some of the plastic on the inset of the orthotic. It was so hard I warmed up the plastic with a heater and that seemed to do the trick.

I felt a little bit awkward at first, but eventually got the feel of it. Since I have flat feet, I have excessive rolling inwards / pronation at the ankle. With my new orthotics it helps support my feet so it doesn't excessively pronate. After I got used to it, I was shredding really really well. It wasn't one of those placebo effects either because I was quite skeptical because of the initial awkwardness. I was throwing in a lot more flip sets (stepping , pixie, atomic, fairy sets) and for the most part, fairly consistant. I also made a conscious effort to keep well hydrated prior to exercising. I usually do anyways, but Johnny's thread about dehydration and consumptions really kept me aware. Just about every concept I do normally felt really good with natural rhythm, nothing was thrown off at all.

June 8th is the big day. That is a test which includes PTA Procedures I & II, Introduction to Clinical Settings, Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions, Principles and Applications of Therapeutic Exercise, and a large lab practical portion. I've got about 6 books I need to reread by then. I really plan on passing it so I can shove the A up Kathy's ass and be like... "WHAT!??!?????" Anyways, I need to start that fun stuff up hard. Wish me luck :x

One thing I have, but didn't think about losing was my health, and that's gone today ! I called off work for the first time in 4 years. So we can add that to the list of problems that seem to be stacking. I gave my dog away last night at City Park and felt like hell because of it. Later that night I drank a ton of rum and a little bit of whiskey for the hell of it and woke up this morning with my head in a trashcan puking all my problems out...I think it is a combination of hangover / stomach virus cause I puked 4 times today and feel weaker than a baby. It's 7 PM and I've eaten 6 crackers and 10 noodles from a ramen pack...lots of water and then some more water.

So I pretty much layed around holding my stomach all day puking in different trashcans. Watched some fo shizza and puked again...Best part of that vid has gotta be....Braaad busting blazing torque like whaaaaat. I called leah to have her come over, I wanted to talk to her, but i pus'd out later in the day. We went to City Park and had some grape ice and I wanted to talk to her about how she felt and what she wanted from the relationship, instead I just layed around slowly dying.

Tip of the day : If you're going to puke, puke in a Hefty durable trash bag instead of a thin layered trash bag :x

Pretty good weekend. Both sisters were in and I got to see my one and only niece. Bobby Gee was also in town so that was a +. We went out Saturday afternoon to City Park to kick. I rolled down and that was my warm up. I'm still enjoying my orthotics in my G-Units, they seem to be doing the job. I feel as if it's helped me be more efficient with energy. I don't feel like I'm exerting myself quite as hard with the help of the arch supports. We played for short of an hour which was a pretty short session. Bobby got tired and wanted to eat burgers, which I can't blame him.

I wanted to join him at my house for some cookout, but I had to do dinner with the family (oh the joys of watching seperated parents and family matters all meshing together as hungry people run around bickering). I never really enjoy family dinners anymore because of all the hussle and bickering that goes on, but since it's so rare now-a-days to get us all in one state and at one table, I just bare it. I know a nice juicy burger with Evan Williams sauce would be much more fun with friends, but we all have to remember that we only have one family and blood is thicker than kool-aid and burgers

Also, on the status of my computer - Burnt out Power supply and dead Mobo. I've purchased new hardware to replace so hopefully everything on my harddrive will be unscathed and I can return to editing the last video I was putting out. I also got myself a new DVD burner with the motherboard / PSU purchase - woot !

Tip of the day: If solo'ing is tedious and mind numbing- buy yourself an MP3 player, you're worth it ! If you're like me, it'll act as fuel which will make every session overall = more rewarding.

Computer is up...not perfect, but I can now post on internet. Everything is still intact, so I didn't loose any portion of the video I was editing :D

Edit: After lots of testing and failure, IDE Port 1 isn't working properly which means I can only have 2 devices plugged in. So it looks like I'll use my harddrive and my new dvdburner - the other dvd/cd player will just have to look pretty until I upgrade to SATA Harddrive to free up the one space...

I was supposed to play some footbag today, a perfectly beautiful day, but instead I spent it all fixing this blasted machine that runs my life.

Glad to hear the video's not lost. I wanna see some dogshow!

Hope you're gaining back all of your losses from last week. Just think of Lulu's noodles and it'll all be OK.

Perfect day for outdoor activities. 71 degrees, light wind, couple puffy clouds running around, blue blue skies. I road my bike over to solo shred at City Park. I played pretty well, but I tweaked my left ankle just a bit. I played some more on it and took it easy to see if it'd go away. It didn't, so I just hopped on my bike and left. Highlights...hmmm... smoke bsos ? , dlo's were on like woah bsos's, just a fun session in general.

So I took off and went to my friend's house to see if he was there, and what was I delighted to see ?? A circle of 3, oh my oh me ! 3 circle kickers with a good ole sipasipa hack. I hopped in for about 40 minutes or so, eventually showed them the way of the 32 panel. They were all pretty stoked and froze from freestyle. I told them if I see them again, i'd just give them a sandbag so they could learn stalling and tricks a bit easier. They were all oldskool highschool kickers, the usual. We played...War hack or something , I've never played that game, it's a bit too aggressive for me. I still whooped'm

Well, it's time to clean up and get ready for a kickass cookout at Mountwood, should be a good time I think. I'm supplying burgers, beer, and other goods with what little money I have left. It's times like these that make memories stand out. Oh, I totally forgot to mention I shotgunned a 24 oz beer last night, in like...5 seconds. That is definitely blog worthy !

Tip of the Day: If it's nice out, go play outside. You never know what awaits you out there. It's the only way the world will see freestyle.
