My buddy works at a Starbucks in California, so I have his little code memorized so I can go in and get as much free Starbucks shit as I want, which has really come in handy over the last year and a half. There've been periods where I survived off those little egg/cheese/sausage breakfast things.

As far as drinks go, I sure as hell drank a lot of those green tea frappacuino things that they had going in the Summer. Shit's were delish.

I second the 'fuck Starbucks' sentiment.

Try drinking real coffee.

I find it funny that the person who started the topic "hates coffee."

yeah. but its hard to get "good" coffee, unless you buy from "random store name" cause its a real coffee shop. i havent found a good coffeeshop in nashville yet, after a year of living here.

i guess im coffee spoiled, since i worked at a nice coffeshop, a rival of starbucks. it was a family owned chain, but he advertised it as a corporate business.

and it stomped starbucks ass.

i liked the hawaiian something blend. it was mild. it rocked. with a spoonful of milk, and one of sugar..... *drools*.... dammit, i wish i hadnt moved now...

Oddly enough I like the bottled Fraps you can buy at the grocery/convenient stores. The stuff at Starbucks is usually a little too strong for me. I can taste the coffee and nothing else.

Grande Americano with room, then top off with cream. That's all I ever get at starbucks. I avoid it as much as possible unless I really need the jolt of an americano to write an exam or paper. I prefer the smaller coffee establishment next door to starbucks if I want coffee. Or Tim Hortons.

There are better alternatives to paying that much for a cup of beverage. Like beer for example. Starbucks is taking over downtown Kingston. The image of downtown Kingston has become more and more yuppie ever since Starbucks moved in. This is their "development" of a better downtown apparently. Bull.

a real machiatto is a straight single or double espresso topped with a dollop of steamed milk, not an entire drink. but thats starbucks fault for making bullshit drinks. nevermind their sizes. i work in a borders cafe and some lady came in and asked for a "grande spiced apple cider" to which i replied: "not only do we not have spiced apple cider, we also dont have sizes like 'grande" because this "isnt fucking starbucks"

this was only topped by the lady who came in 30 minutes after. i inquired if she would like whipped cream on her fruit smoothee. this started a 10 minute conversation that began with her asking if the whipped cream "would change the taste of the smoothee" i said: "presumably...i believe thats why its often used...and not for some other reasons, like its really really good for you and helps lose weight" strange. she decided to go without the whipped cream...

who here know what chai actually is? well i will tell you. unless you get a chai LATTE, which involes steamed milk, its just a mostly suger powder mixed with hot water.

REVEREND BOWLER SPITTING THE TRUTH.

Macchiatos are probably my favorite drink to order and I get the, "So, you know this isn't actually a caramely pile of sweet shit, right?" response from baristas sooo much. Kind of insulting but it is their job after all.

word. I love those things man
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

I don't really liek starbucks too much. I actually worked in a coffee shop for a year and a half. It was a small one, so there was only myself most of the time, or me and one other person working there. I liked to make latte's with a little shot of caramel, then 1 shot of espresso and the amount of frothed milk that you'd use for a 2 shot latte.

small black coffee. Or, if I'm feeling a little fiesty, large black coffee. That's what I get almost everywhere, not just starbuck's.

I knew a guy from Rochester named starbuck.

You mean the Vanilla Creme. They come as a hot drink or in a frap, and the'yre my favorite non-coffee drink definately.

I once had something I forget the name of.... It was like a caramel creme espresso, and I LOVED it, but I was alone that day, and I forgot the name. I'll have to ask for anything like that next time I need a shot of java
