I agree 100%. I always feel after shredding that if I just can't hit something that I should quit. But somehow I just keep on goign back to it evryday working harder and practicing. Its the only way to improve.
This was same to me too for my first 1-2 years (how one wants to count it...) of playing.
Then this year it changed totally and now I'm enjoying footbag more than ever.
Most of the responsibilities of life forces me to be on my ass most of the day. Studying, using the computer, and jobs that have me sitting down most of the time leaves little for me to do any footbag. I definitely agree that it's becoming more frustrating for me, but at least I have sewing to keep me company.
I guess what I'm feeling right now is how I want to manage my time for footbag. I definitely want to increase my level of skill, but I have to maintain personal responsbility for my social life first. It's comfortable to do any footbag for only 2-3 hours once a week (twice if I'm lucky), but anything more than that is hectic and busy. I would love to have a full day for only schooling (or three full days like you would have in footbag events ) but to do that consistently in my schedule isn't happening.

If my legs could take it (which hopefully after incorporating Hood's House's recommended stretching routines they slowly will), I would play for 3-4 hours a day 5-7 days a week.
As it is now, I play about 2-3 hours a day, 3-5 days a week which is still pretty decent. I couldn't see playing less than that.
