To all Smokers of Anything....

Post by Samurai »

Ok guys, this is to make you all better footbag players.

You smoke this or that or the other thing. Well, now you don't have to.

This will improve the health of some individuals and create better footbag players

http://www.vaporinfo.com Good luck.

Basic Vaporizer Theory
Vaporization occurs when essential oils are heated. The higher the temperature the faster the vaporisation happens. The essential oil does NOT need to be heated to its boiling point for this to work, but at its boiling point it will be most effective.

An analogy can be drawn with water. Water on its own will generally just sit there, slowly evaporating. Heat it up and it will evaporate faster. Boil it and it will come off very fast.

Take a hair dryer. If the hot air from a hair dryer was at the boiling point of water (100°C) then it would burn you, yet a hair dryer still dries your hair much faster than not using one. The flow of air also helps as it moves the water-vapour saturated air away to let more water evaporate. You can also see this happen when you blow on something to dry it.

The same principles can be applied to vaporizers. A moving flow of air over the herb encourages more essential oil to vaporize, and making the temperature of that flow of air near or at the boiling point of the essential oil means it is also being heated. Combining the two is the principle behind convection vaporizers.

Conclusions:
Much more efficient over smoking
Much less harmful than smoking
The vapor tastes nicer
Vapor is a lot less of an annoyance to your throat

I recently got pneumonia which changed the way I care for my lungs. I can't / won't smoke anymore. But....

Its been a while since a smoked but when I did I used my aromazap a lot. I thought it was pretty good device but honestly you are still inhaling shit into your lungs which is not a great idea now matter how you do it. Better than inhaling a lot of smoke from plant matterial in a regular jay yes, better then not smoking at all?? NO!

Vapos are good because a well made device will only heat up to the temperature that causes thc to change from its liquid state to a gas leaving all the crappy parts of the plant, leaf, shake, stem bits behind and unsmoked. Keep in mind a lot of vapos are pure crap. Only use air convection vapourizers (ones that heat air to the right temperature and then pulls the air over the bud). Do not even bother with metal convection ones where you place the bud right onto a piece of metal. They are useless.

Yay, responses.

Basically, if you HAVE to smoke, then might as well minimize the physical damage.

Just wanted to let you know if you didn't already.

Yeah, when I quit smoking for 2 months is when I hit over 200 guiltless.

Now I can barely do 50. Because I've been smoking? Probably.

Sorry Sam. Your concern for everyone's health is well intended I'm sure, but this topic and those links are direct information on how to vaporize or inhale illegal substances (maybe not illegal in India, but still in most of the countries of the users of this forum. It's not appropriate.

That's too far!!! There was no reason to censor that. That is just plain information!!! And, furthermore, there are plenty of cig smokers that could use this information. There is no need to assume that it must be used for an illegal substance. Therefor, your CENSORSHIP is unjustified.

WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

How about some cheese with your whine.
You posted a video that, not indirectly, but DIRECTLY showed a "better" way to smoke weed. It didn't show a bunch of people sittin' around the table smoking tobacco, it was weed. I think it's pretty stupid that you've been on this forum as long as you have and yet you still couldn't figure out that you shouldn't post that shit.

I really don't understand what the problem is with posting a link to externally hosted video that shows somebody doing something illegal - especially if you say what the link is. We live in a society where seeing people do things illegal is a common occurance - be it on tv, in movies or in music. Just because something is illegal does not mean that the law is correct. It's also important I think to realise that a large percentage of people on this forum do sometimes smoke weed (and other things) and if you can offer some advice that will help those people - I don't see that as a bad thing. I really can't imagine people taking up smoking weed because they watched that video - although I haven't watched it personally but it was my impression it was about using vaporisers - not reasons why you should smoke weed. If people don't want to watch that video then they don't have to.

I've read too many posts in the past 10 min to keep up with if this has been posted or not, but this site seems to be a more nuetral (less illegal substance-oriented) brand of that type of product.

http://www.vapir.com/

I don't smoke, but I have known people that burn herbs and stuff, and alternatives to that is somewhat interesting. One example is burning sage or incense.

Dont promote ineffective(vapir) products. Look up volcano vaporizer and weigh the cost of that versus your health.
