Is the fabric for these Lavers different? Will it effect shreds and tricks? Is it able to mod? If you can answer any of these I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!
yeah, id say theyre shreddable. i wouldnt mod out the inner canvas, just toebox mod. that way, they still look good and you can shred. but id still get some other opinions, since mine is just from word of mouth, and my own opinion
Well, either way they were the only shoes I could find that I could pay for with a money order, so I'm gonna hafta figure out a way to make them shreddable if they aren't already. hehheheh
They're very shreddable, but the design is a bit different compared to regular mesh Lavers. More specifically, the arch support and the white rims where the eyelets are. There's a vast difference in comparison around those areas (concerning feel and break-in), but other than that there has been no major complaints concerning it's design.
However, one thing to note that, unlike mesh Lavers, these shoes don't ventilate as well even when modded. It is due to the cloth exterior. Again, nothing much to fret about, but something to look out for.
I relate to the matter that these shoes are for fashion and not for shredding, but I have modded a pair myself in the past and had grown to like them. They're no problem in my book.

If I were you, i'd just get regular mesh ones. Shred shoes are damn ugly (to the common person ) when modded, so dont expect them to look nice or anything.
I wasn't planning on showing them off for looks heheheh. But I can't get Mesh Lavers now. I already bought them and they were the only shoes I could find in my price range and was able to pay for them with amoney order.
no no no, dont regret this decision. those lavers kick ass. they look awesome, and there is definitely a decent group of footbaggers who have tried them for footbag, and give rave reviews.
1st: Vegan. If that's important to you-this is great!!!
2nd: stickier! Great for beginners to learn stalling & shredders with an aggressive style so they can land double/triple dex moves easy...not that I've landed a triple dex move
3rd: Tight looking! Kids & Girls love them for their unique look and soft feel
4th: um, don't breathe awesome....
Numbers don't count!
6th: toe box opens best out of all shoes I've used [with the exception of my blue lavas!
Those shoes are definitely fine for shred. I have a set just like those, with hardly any mods, and I can do all kinds of tricks in them. You'll love them. They're super soft and super stylish, too! I have a green pair that I kick in, and a blue pair that I just wear around, and they get compliments all the time.
