Growlers and kegs of the freshest delicious beer. Great advice from quality coaches. Killer weather, beautiful scenery, great venues with demos and shows. All kinds of freestyle. Cool people, great parties. 40 bars within an 8 block radius. Boon Penske!! Jim Penske!! All around incredible shred. Just a few things that made the Montana freestyle jam great. This event was huge F.U.N., too many highlights.
This jam was killer. I had so much fun, so many cool people and quality partying not to mention Missoula itself which is a sweet sweet place. Not even the speeding ticket I got going there could make a difference. James will back me up. Different venues each day was a great thing and all 3 days fri sat sun were great spots. The Saturday scene was super cool with breakers, rappers, skaters, slack rope, martial arts, and more. Not to mention incredible shred. Penske, as usual, destroyed everyone, but this weekend he was particularly devastating, as he'd been playing twice a day up until the event. And it showed. There were some epic epic strings from that man every time he touched the bag. It's all a blur, I'll try to remember some specifics and post later. Not to mention that Jim's brother Boon showed up. He turned out to be THE MAN, a party master for sure. Great stuff from the Penske bros.
I got to see alot of people's style I'm not too familiar with and there was some great stuff from Landes, Byrin, Rory, Kevin C, Kevin R in particular, those dudes shred hard. Regamy won sick 3 with 2 killer combos to chose from. Evan was playing great, as of course Daryl, Justin and Ricky were all throwing down. So much good stuff. The Saturday party was pretty epic with the breakers showing up, 2 kegs of fresh killer brew, fire poi in the living room, and other debochery. Overall great great weekend. Super big thanks and praises to Evan and the MFA crew for the epic hospitality and invitation. I recommend everyone hit up this next year, seriously. I'll do my best to be back.

We got there on Friday morning and had a great shred at the University. That night we had an epic party. The drinking game was the shit. I got torn up somewhere between the 15 beers and the triple donut. That pipe is the shit! Thanks Seth.
After leaving Friday nights beers on Evan front lawn I recovered slowly on Sat. morning. The good food store was the bomb. It helped everyone recover. Caras Park was awesome. Tons of talent all around. Everything was a blur after I had a meeting with Pete and Justin by the river. I was soooo blunted. I just remember drinking a lot of Red Bulls and shredding. Pete's routine was AMAZING nearly flawless with like 1 or 2 drops.
Sunday was a great day to chill. The shred spot in the forest was sick. Playing footbag golf was fun! Especially with Pete officiating the game. Everyone was shredding good on Sunday. I was particularly impressed with Ricky Moran. It looks like he's been practicing a lot.
Thanks to the Missoula crew for such a sick jam!
See you all next year.

what a fun event! justin, ricky and i left seattle friday evening after work and crashed in spokane, then got to missoula saturday around noon or so to see hundreds of people at the event site. it was pretty cool to see so many people at a footbag festival, i think that having it with all of the skateboarders, breakdancers, etc is a great idea because they got a huge audience. got so see some very impresive shred and catch up with everybody. pete's preformance as always was amazing, i like it more every time i see it. saturday night there was a great party at evan's, very fun. then sunday morning riley and a few others made everybody a huge breakfast!! bacon, eggs, fruit, and some potatoe veggie thing, it was great! the sunday shred spot was much more low key out in the woods but fun to shred at, unfortunately we had to leave early to get back to seattle. all in all one great weekend. thanks a lot to even and the monana crew for putting on such a great festival, i know it was probably a ton of work and we all apreciate it.

Props to Montana for stepping it up. I am glad at least one representative from Portland was there. If I could have swung it, I would have definitely gotten out there. This event should be continuous and long running. Congrads again on another successful event, as well as taking it to the next level.
Where are all the results for the comps and scores?

yeah, but whirl on the same side b2b doesn't seem unique to me. Penske got it both sides and stepped out of his as compared to spinning, which most would agree is easier to spin out of whirl than step it. Plus superfly is sweet!
I really don't care though Kevs. Just my opinon,
Plus Riley is bias on pendulus because he sees Evan do it all the time, unlike most people.

you did! RIGHT AFTERWARD!!!
Jim hit some crazy beast combo right after his 5th try. AND right before the comp started. Next time... in Santa Cruz it'll be some PWNAGE by Penkse... or should I say P3N5K3 T3H PWN32
(if you can read that, you need to get laid more often

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.
