there are better ways to earn money than by getting it for doing essentially nothing? the slight danger of getting sick is the only risk involved. other than that, it takes essentially no time, no effort, and quick returns.

I love the logic right there. You also earn ego points.
To be conservative let's say it took him 8 seconds and he earned 20 AUS /17 USD. That's a 150 AUS per minute or 9,000 (9.000 for you Euros) AUS per hour. If he could do this 40 hrs/wk he'd make close to 19.7M AUS per year
That's a 127.5 USD per minute or 7,650 (7.650 for you Euros) USD per hour. If he could do this 40 hrs/wk he'd make close to 16M USD per year
I'd do it for kicks. And when I don't have $20 in my wallet.

$20 Canadian is still quite a lot for something like this. No camera, it would definitely be way WAY too good. With camera, it depends on how attention-whoreage or poor you want yourself to be seen. Then again, money is money. I've only found a free $20 only once...and I had to chase after it for a good 5 minutes due to wind. Rarely does something this good come by.
