Annexing Mexico

I don't know if I want to ask this or not...what the heck.

This might be one of the most stupid questions I will ask, but it came across my mind one day while talking about the immigration problem to my mom. Do you think we (USA) will ever annex Mexico because of all of the immigration and stuff? I thought this, because I feel like we have so many Mexican immigrants (legal and illegal), we might as well join up or something. Compared to other immigrants, I have no idea what percentage of each come into America to say if a lot of only Mexican ones are coming in. I might be thinking this, because I moved to a city (I don't live there now) a few years ago that had a higher percentage of hispanics than whites in it, and since then, I have noticed more and more hispanics everywhere. What do you think?

I doubt we will annex with Mexico, because

1.- All of Mexico is already in california (

)
2.-It would not benefit us in any way
3.-Too much effort has gone into keeping Mexicans out, and I doubt our government would change that now, fearing Bush to look like a flip flopper and have his approval drop to the 20's.

If you really think about it though, the bush administration might like to do something like that just to keep our minds off the fact that thousands of our boys died for no reason.

That was kind of a random question.

Give California, New Mexico and Arizona to Mexico. Give em everything in Texas south of San Antonio too. We don't need it.

Or, you might forget that California has a HUGE coastline and has various crops growing, etc. It's worth quite a bit. New Mexico wouldn't be. Not sure if there's anything in Arizona except pyromaniatry or previous nuclear weapons detonation sites...

As for annexing Mexico, that's complete bullshit. Of course, it's a retarded question. First of all, English is dominant language throughout the US. Spanish is dominant in Mexico. TO A VAST DEGREE. Plus, we don't have the revenue to support the restructuring and renovation of the Mexican country in the case we get it. I can go on for hours. No idea why such an idea came up for you.

We won't, we'd have to accept a new large number of citizens, and with all the problems in Mexico, we'd have to spend an assload to take of their people, and then another assload to regulate things like laws.

In case you don't know, the general feeling of a lot of the girls on this forum is that they'd rather not involve themselves in any discussions whatsoever because they might receive a response like that, and a lot of them feel it's easier to not have to deal with it at all, than to put themselves in a situation where they might have to verbally fight back or defend themselves.

Please do not alienate our shreditas. We want more girls in the sport, not less.

I've never seen any female freestylers other than online. Only seen circle kickers, I think more women should join. Way off topic though.

Well, yeah. I kinda thought of that stuff, but I was thinking about how that would be nothing compared to the fact that the president or whoever it concerns would have more land to control and stuff like that...power. We waste so much money anyways, why would it be so hard to spend more?

I'm sorry guys. This is probably why I haven't talked to many of them females in a while. And those with whom I have were the gamer/anime/manga geek type.

In any case:

1. Nothing I said was offensive.
2. I didn't notice nor care whether one is male or female.
3. The board's description clearly states: "READER BEWARE, YOU'RE IN FOR A SCARE! This section is mostly serious non-footbag discussion and it can get ugly," meaning that...umm...the discussion should be serious and not-the-nicest-of-words can be used.
4. Clearly due to the above, if you can't handle being serious or being tolerant, you shouldn't be in the Discussions board.

Anyway, apart from all of that, I apologize if I hurt your (collective) potential feelings. Now that I know I have unintentionally pissed off more people by being serious, I'll go back to writing my History paper, study for damned Calc exam, and write up a few lab reports. Then will go back on some MUD or the like. Etc.

Having myself made an enemy of the general public and mildly satisfied with the oddly humourous result, I'm actually going to go straight to sleep...soon...

I just wish people wouldn't get riled by serious comments. As for my indistinguishing from male to female, that's another discussion right there. Meh. Night all.
