Hey yeh sorry Nic i hadnt actually finished downloading it when i made that post, but had to reply to Hagesy. Oh and i cant really compare my video to yours as one is a 5min job on one player and the other is a half hour treatment of the whole event!
Did anyone else struggle to download it? My Download Accelerator kept disconnecting and shit and getting rejected by the server for some reason, so id come back hours later to find it had only done like 10% or something
Anyhoo i got it, great work all round! Some really nice cuts to the music esp in Jeremy's section, i also like being able to watch videos like this where there isnt sooo much emphasis on cutting to the music and so whole runs from a player can be included, not just what fits in before the beat changes. And you can slow-mo whatever you want without worrying about the timing so much all the time.
I think i was only sceptical of the Eric B and Rakim remix; i thought the beat was well suited but the MCing was a bit slow for it. I was surprised about the track on the intro (the one after 500 Miles)! But it has a nice bouncy vibe to it which was cool.
The few effects that you did use were really nice, like the NZ logo thing that has been mentioned several times, that was wicked! And the zoom on the bag in Phils section. I also like the overexposure transition that you used and i think Kevin R used in the Hackrifice video, im gonna have to play with it sometime!
Great to see lots of Dan footage, i didnt get much of him when i was there. Oh yeh and im SOOO SORRY, it seems i was wandering around in the background with my camera in like every second shot! And sometimes in front of the camera, real sorry about that dude
Some things i didnt like were like, showing too many drops i think, like at the end of runs and stuff, i think this kind of takes you mentally out of the video for a second or two, because although we all know it happens, its nice to watch thinking that the player in question just never drops! Oh and the repeated run thing, and the audio levels thing, but they have already been covered. The shaky camera intro to Phils section kinda hurt my head.
The credits were sweet! Its a while since ive seen a video with good credits like that, the little outtakes are priceless!
Although i feel like i see that Font used in every second video, is it like the default one in Premiere or something? Its very plain and seems to be used too much but thats just me.
Oh more footage of Jesse, Alex and Dyalan next time! And less footage of me hahahahaha Its nice looking back on it in this video because as i think someone else already said, at the time things dont seem quite so crazy or at least good for the player, but now its more impressive! I guess videos always glamourise it anyway hehehehe
Thanks again, Nic the scary pedophile, for this great video! It must have been a nightmare going through so much footage to make the video, but then im also jealous you have that much footage to work with hehehe so thanks heaps for putting it out!

EDIT: Oh yeh good work with the different angles and distances, i was sick of watching fisheye footage when doing my Phil video (cos i always overuse it) so it was very refreshing to watch the same runs and stuff again from different angles without fisheye!
Oh and could someone please invent a new footag question other than, 'Why do you play footbag?' Im pretty sure we all know why now hahah
