Do you wear your lavers 24/7?
I've searched and read extensively on the topic of modded Lavers, but I never read anything about this. So my question is simple, do you people who claim to have modded lavers that don't have a really short shoe life actually wear your Lavers around? (When I say modded, I mean cutting the outside layer of leather on insides and outsides) I want to mod them, but I also want to wear them around, and I do love trashy shoes so that's not a problem. TIA

I don't, but it's mainly because my lavers are so choice now that I don't want to put ANY more wear on them than I have to. I want to achieve guiltless in the same shoes I started with.
But I think after that goal is accomplished, I'm going to get a new pair and wear them 24/7, even in my sleep!
Well, maybe 23.99/7 cuz I don't think I'm gonna wear them in the shower.

I wear my modded G-units most of the time, but when it comes to a serious shred session with the club, I walk in my modded/unmodded Lavers, and then switch to G-units.

I think I have this right:
I talked with Lon about this a few months ago. I said that I don't think it's good for kickers to wear their Lavers every day because I've heard Dr.'s say that it's good for people wear different pairs of shoes on a pretty regular basis. He agreed, but said that just before events it's good for people to wear their Lavers all the time so their body gets completely used to them, which I think is a great point.
And to post more on topic... I used to play every day with my first pair of Lavers, and I wore them for walking around every day and they lasted a long time.

I only wear lavers usually. Anyone who has seen my shoes could realize that
Other shoes suck, end of story. I just switch between my 2 pairs. So far one pair (black leathers) lasted 1 year with major wear on shoe but almost none on the sole and the other (white leather) has lasted me 1 1/2 years until montana where they completely blew up.
Point is: I wear lavers all the time because I like the way they look and I like being able to shred whereever I want and I don't care about them wearing away because I still wear them anyways

When I first started playing I would wear another pair of more comfortable shoes then change to my Lavers when I shred. As I played more I would wear them to and from sessions but never on days that I wasn't playing. Towards the end I found them becoming uncomfortable when wearing for long periods of time and I returned to wearing running shoes before and after a session.

Thanks guys, it's good to hear what other laver wear-ers are doing
I think I'm gonna cut them and wear them, sounds like it's just kinda personal preference. I just played soccer in my lavers, and they were pretty good but the lacing mod is horrible! So yeah, I think I'll wear them for daily walking/shredding, but other shoes for other situations. Thanks again, all the comments were a huge help!

I wear my lavers 24/7. straight up: all the time...
I never want to leave the house without them in case I walk by another footbagger. That way, he (or she) might spot my lavers and we'll get to shred!! Lavers are like a tatoo that are braded into me, and most other footbaggers.

Sooo true, I find myself looking at everyone's shoes now, hoping to see some lavers. It was awesome when I finally put together the fact that all the good footbaggers in my group were wearing similar adidas shoes....RawSko wrote:Lavers are like a tatoo that are braded into me, and most other footbaggers.

I wear lavers about 50% I guess. I like varying shoes, and only wear my lavers around if I think I might want to shred at all. I want to get a pair of real nice lavers, like ones posted recently, brown. nice as. unmodded, just to wear around, cause I love the way lavers look, but my shred lavers are filthy and whatnot.

Ive had that happen in downtown Kingston! I saw a dude wearing modded mesh lavers that were cleaaarly very old and beaten up and we stopped and had a pleasant chat out of nowhere!RawSko wrote:I never want to leave the house without them in case I walk by another footbagger. I wear lavers with custom orthotics around as my walking/hacking shoes. I wear my clima 1's for shred all the time.
I usually wear my white/green mesh lavers lately, but often I swap in the black lavers. I like lots of other shoes too. Shoes are awesome.

I have 3 pairs of lavers
1) leather lavers (white blue/toe mod) -> for outdoor winter/rainy conditions and I wear them around like loafers sometimes.
2) mesh lavers (white green/toe mod/upgraded inserts) -> for outdoor summer fun. The inserts let me perform symposium tricks on concrete w/o pain.
3) mesh lavers (blue white/toe mod/inside mod) -> indoors year round. These are my premiere shred shoes. I have been known to bust them outdoors on very special occasions.
I also have aquasox footbag shoes to play with in shallow water and on water platforms.
I don't actually wear lavers to bed, but I do sleep in crossbody position.
