Hi! Let me present myself...

Post by Shredinger Z »

Well.. I have written like 10 posts in this forum and I have not present myself...

My name is Mikel Oroz, I live in Zaragoza, a little city in north east of Spain...
Here in Spain footbag is not very known... there are only 15 footbagers in my country... but we're trying to make this grow up and we have 2 players who are really good, one of them posts in modified. , his nick is Sora and he is a great shredder... I belive he can be in Europeans in a pair of years... but everything comes at his time...

In my city there's no people who plays freestyle excepting me.. of course...
I started playin' 7 months ago and 4 sure I don't have an incredible skills, but I'm happy with my level for being playin' alone.. I do 2/3 adds tricks... Osis, Butterfly, Pdx mirage, Pdx pickup, Symp mirage (all both legs) and Whirl, Diving or Spinning clipper with my right leg... :D
I also hitted a 4 add trick, it's only a Diving buttefly and there are a lot of 4 add tricks that are much more difficult than this one but it's my first 4 add... anyone can understand how you feel when you hit your first 4 add :D :D

Well.. that's me... I'm happy to have found this beautiful sport and I'm also happy to have a site where I can talk with people who has the same passion as me for footbag!

P.D. I hope that if anyone comes to Spain.. contact us for shred okay???

Thanks for the comments...

A I can see diving butterfly or ducking butterfly are the first 4 add for some people.. I supose that this is normal because when you get diving or ducking.. you have learned butterfly long time ago. So the logical next step is to try to join them in a 4 add trick... :D

And that stuff about symposium butterfly?... I think I have catched the concept..
4 example.. you throw the footbag with your right foot.. and without placing the foot on the ground.. you do the butterfly catchig the bag with the same foot, didn't u?

Sorry to break it to you Kyle, but butterfly cannot get a symposium add. A lot of people (including myself) believe that reverse whirl gets a symposium add, but that is debatable and certainly only applies for reverse whirls and not butterfles (the differance between the two is the way you dex the bag).

My first 4add was ps mirage :).

you don't look like a dick, it's a common mistake. At least I thought it got symp add for like, a year... and I would try to invent 6 add moves that had symposium dynos (back when I thought symple butterfly osis was symposium dyno). Yeah, I though I hit a 6 add move after, like, 6 months of shred: pixie symposium dyno... too bad symposium dyno is almost impossible and that would be a PHAT 6 if anyone actually hit it.

Symposium dyno is impossible... if you start the dex without planting your support foot then you get symple dyno, but the support leg has to go down at some stage, humans can't levitate themselves yet, so it can't be symposium ;).

You should be stoaked to hit pixie dyno after only 6 months though, that's a hard trick, I know I coulden't bust stuff like that when I was at 6 months.

He hit pixie symple refraction, if read his post right. Nick's such an add hunter. At least it turned him into a super dank shredder!

that's pretty accurate right there!
