Repair

I finished my first bag a little while ago (will post pics when I get home) but I have a problem, that problem is the one of the pent/hexs somehow got un-gathered during the time I did it and finished. Should I go and redo that panel? or should I leave it be?

Because of this my bag has a flat spot and isn't totally round.

i ddint repair my first bag, since it wouldnt have seen much play. its good practice tho. that way if you fuck up a bag thats for someone else, your prepared. so yeah, id try and fix it. if you can. you are just stitching by the pents right, so 12 different knots holding the bag together? yeah, might as well fix it if it is.

If you've already finished and filled the bag i wouldn't. It happens when you first start stitching. its happened to me a couple times and i've just left it. once you get more consistant in your stitching and gathering you won't have this problem anymore. consider it a learning experience.

If you're like me and extremely resourceful, I'd repair it. I don't have much income saved for buying facile, so if you have a bag that only has one or two mishapened panels it doesn't hurt to redo them again. Plus, it's good practice to teach yourself a good blind stitch.
