Kintu/Kintuted

Post by Troyson »

Ok, what i am about to say may seem kintu, but after reading this you will understand what i just said...hopefully

Today when in my college verbal skills class, i asked my teacher what i would need to do in order to create my own word. She said you dont have to do anything, just make up a word and a definition, and if enough people start to use it, it may eventually become an accepted word.

so, i am trying to attempt to make the word Kintu a widely accepted word.
before i tell you the definition, it requires some explanation.

IK all of you have heard people say the words..."this is so retarted", or "this is so gay", but when you think about it, the words retarted and gay dont really make sense in the sentence. So, by replacing those words with Kintu, it makes sense because you are taking those derrogatory and offensive words out, and replacing them with a word that has no effect on people, i.e. "this is so kintu"

Furthermore, i guarantee all of you have heard people say " That kid is so gay/retarted", but you know they dont mean homosexuality or retardation. or you have heard "that kid is such a homo/faggot/loser etc" all of those words are derrogatory, but do not really fit with what the person is trying to say. This is where kintu comes in. You can replace any of those words with the word "kintu" and it will fit and make sense based on my definition of it. i.e. "look at that fucking Kintu"

Also, i know alot of you like to say "im getting retarted today/tonight!" This is all well and good, but why not say "im getting kintuted tonight!" still has the same meaning, but now just another new word to say.

Basically, the idea of creating the word kintu is kintu, but at the same time makes sense....
Kintu-
n-A term used for someone you do not like
Adj- A term used for an activity or event you dislike

Kintuted-v-the act of getting fucked upp!!!

Now, if any of you had the patience to read through all of that, go out and start using the word kintu today. At first it will sound strange, but over time i want it to become a more widely accepted word, and possibly put it into the dictionary. And i am only trying to do this so that i cant prove my teacher wrong...she told me i could never create a word that would be accepted because i am not smart enough....PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS!!!!

And i am open to suggestions on the usage/definition on the word...keep in mind i just made it up in school today.

Quit being such a kintu, dan.You dont have to use it, but posting a derrogatory comment in troyson's thread was unnecessary.

Sounds like a nice idea, but don't use you in your definitions if you want to impress your teacher.

A few years ago some friends of mine made up the word "Cunza" as an insult and it's still widely used in some circles today. Actually it's possible they adopted the word from Italian - I'm not sure.

I actually make up TONS of words that only I know, but bare some phonetic resemblance to their origin. Sometimes it's fun when you're the only one speaking your language...Oh, hey, why is phonetic spelled non-phonetically anyway? That always messes with me. Oh yeah, and man I didn't know how to spell 'attach' because EVERY OTHER FREAKIN 'atch' word has a TCH. Attach is literally the only word that doesn't have a T in it like catch, match, patch, batch, hatch, etc. It really shocked and annoyed me when I realized the real spelling like 2 years ago. The only reason I found out is because I looked up at the 'Attach' button on my email and there it was staring at me in all it's ungodly wrongness. It's Attatch Dammit!!! :x
